Logan Paul, Le’Veon Bell Agree To Boxing Match Terms After $1M Bet Challenge

Logan Paul offered NFL players a $1 million challenge: fight him in boxing or MMA. Now, former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell has accepted and they’re discussing a possible fight.

Although the fight hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, the two competitors have been discussing it online and seem to have agreed on the main details.

Logan Paul’s $1 Million Challenge

The situation escalated when Paul challenged any NFL player to a boxing match, offering a $1 million prize, following Tom Brady’s use of a derogatory term towards him.

So, this WWE star – who’s also really popular online – offered up his gym in Puerto Rico as a place for the fight to happen. He suggested both fighters contribute the money to an escrow account, which I think is a really fair way to make sure everything’s legit and everyone’s protected. It sounds like he’s trying to make this fight actually happen!

Paul later claimed that no NFL players were willing to risk their own money.

“My $1,000,000 open bet to fight NFL players has caused an uproar,” Paul posted online.

He explained that the players were hoping for a complete event package – including streaming, a venue, and press conferences – so they could earn money without having to invest their own funds.

Paul stated he won’t leave WWE to prepare for a fight, but he’s willing to fight if someone offers $1 million and travels to Puerto Rico for it.

Le’Veon Bell Accepts The Fight

Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell turned boxing pro quickly responded to Paul’s comments.

Bell mocked Paul’s proposal, saying it sounded more like a sparring session than a real fight.

Bell responded to someone who challenged him to a sparring match, saying he’s happy to practice if that’s what they want. He jokingly used ‘bro’ and included laughing emojis in his reply.

Bell agreed to the $1 million bet but said the fight should continue until one fighter quits.

Fight Terms Agreed

Paul then responded with specific terms for the match:

  • 10 oz gloves
  • No headgear
  • Three-minute rounds
  • Fight continues until someone quits
  • $1 million bet with money placed in escrow
  • No judges, referee chosen by Bell

Paul also said he would be open to either boxing or MMA rules.

“Deal? Will have contract drawn up & sent,” Paul posted.

Bell replied that he boxes and told Paul to send the contract.

Bout Still Needs Official Announcement

Despite the apparent agreement on social media, the fight has not yet been officially announced.

Paul has suggested the fight could happen as early as next weekend, if the contract is signed.

The fight will be between a WWE star and a popular YouTuber, and a former running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers who’s been training in combat sports since retiring from football.
