I’ve been a poker player for years, long before Chris Moneymaker brought the game to a wider audience. I’m also a huge fan of the John Wick movies – I’d even work for free at The Continental hotel! That’s why I was thrilled to try out Pirate Gold Poker’s deluxe John Wick Poker Set. After testing it out, I can confidently say it’s perfect for fans of both Texas Hold ‘Em and the world of Baba Yaga. But it’s not just for me; this set adds a touch of sophistication to any game night, making it feel like you’re playing at the High Table.

The official John Wick Collector’s Set from Lionsgate and Pirate Gold Poker has everything you need to host a poker night. It comes in a sturdy black case with custom-fit foam lining and includes 50 Continental gold coins, 250 poker chips, a special dealer stack, two collectible card decks, and a Certificate of Authenticity. This set looks so authentic, you could imagine using it in The Continental hotel.

Everything about it—from the details to the overall design—references the world of the series, its hero, and the deeper story of the High Table. It all comes together seamlessly, with the careful attention to detail fans have come to expect from this franchise.

The chip set includes chips in four colors, with values of 1, 5, 10, and 20. The dealer stack is made of four aluminum pieces, carefully crafted with precise machining and detailed laser etching. The set also features clearly distinguishable big and small blind buttons, each a different height. You get two dealer buttons – one tall and one short – to choose from. When assembled, the four weighted pieces of the dealer stack resemble a silencer.

I especially love the gold coins – they’re surprisingly heavy and feel like genuine currency used by the High Table. They’re fantastic collectibles on their own, and they also add to the full poker chip set. With these, you can easily set up a game with around 250 chips. You might even want to assign a higher value to the gold coins to ensure you have enough for larger bets.

The clay poker chips are lighter than I prefer, but many players will like their feel and weight. They’re a far cry from the inexpensive plastic chips you find in most stores – these feel like the real deal, something you’d find in a casino. The cards are also high quality, much better than a typical deck, though they might need a little use to become fully flexible.

This poker set replaces the traditional kings, queens, and jacks with gun imagery, making it unsuitable for children. It’s definitely designed for adults – kids shouldn’t be playing with it, watching action movies like John Wick, or pretending with toy silencers. This set is strictly for grown-up players.

If you’re still upset about Baba Yaga’s puppy, you might want to choose a different deck of cards. And honestly, Pirate Gold Poker might be a bit of a sensitive topic right now. It’s just too soon.

As you’d expect, a poker set designed after the High Table is more expensive than average. However, its price of $389.00 (currently reduced to $350) didn’t prevent the limited edition from selling out in just two weeks when it was first released. I believe I know the reason.

If you’re a fan of poker and the John Wick movies and have a little extra money to spend, this is a fantastic item. It’s the perfect gift – something someone wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves, but would absolutely love to receive. It’s a really cool, fun, and unexpected purchase that’s sure to be a hit, especially at a bachelor or bachelorette party. This poker set is really sharp and classy – definitely a step above what you usually see in a poker room. And believe me, I’ve seen a lot of them! It makes you wish you were playing at a high-stakes game like the one at the High Table.

Don’t stress about the cards – they don’t include extra copies of the number two. However, it’s still a really bad idea to play poker with criminals.
