Christian Bale shared a humorous exchange with fans in New York City while signing autographs. It happened after someone mentioned the Marvel movie Thor: Love and Thunder.
The interaction quickly turned into a lighthearted exchange that even caught Bale off guard.

Christian Bale Laughs At Fan’s Comment
While meeting fans and signing autographs, one person complimented Bale’s acting in the movie, even though it wasn’t popular with many Marvel enthusiasts.
“Don’t care what people say. You did a great job,” the fan told Bale.
The comment surprised Bale, who immediately burst out laughing.
“What are they saying?!” Bale joked, not knowing what project the fans is talking about.
The fan then clarified the reason for the comment.
“That movie was terrible!” the fan said. Then, quietly, they added, “I actually liked it, but please don’t tell anyone.”
Another fan nearby asked what movie they were talking about.
“Thor: Love and Thunder,” the fan responded, as Bale continued smiling.
The supporter doubled down on the compliment.
“You did a great job. I don’t care what anyone else says,” he said.
Bale repeated the line while laughing.
Bale playfully responded, “You did a great job, and I don’t care what anyone else thinks!” You can see the whole exchange in the video linked below.

Bale Played Gorr The God Butcher
Christian Bale played Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder, portraying one of the more menacing villains from Marvel comics.
Okay, so everyone loved Christian Bale’s acting, seriously, it was fantastic. But the movie itself? It really divided people. A lot of us – both critics and fans like me – thought it was just too comedic. It didn’t quite hit the right balance, and that was a letdown considering how good Bale was.
It was also reported that several scenes with Christian Bale’s character were removed from the final cut of the film, including scenes where his character, Gorr, killed more gods in different parts of the universe.
Instead, director Taika Waititi leaned into a more comedic and over-the-top style for the film.

Thor 5 Expected To Be More Serious
There’s talk that Marvel is planning a fifth Thor film, but director Taika Waititi is said to be moving on from the series.
Chris Hemsworth has admitted that Love and Thunder might have relied too heavily on comedy. He’s hinted that if Thor gets another movie of his own, it could be a more serious story.
Chris Hemsworth will be back in the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday, set to hit theaters in December.
