When Will FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 Release? All We Know Upcoming Cop Show So Far

As an ardent fan of FBI: Most Wanted, I couldn’t contain my excitement when the fifth season wrapped up with Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) finally tying the knot! The anticipation leading to that wedding was palpable, and I must admit, I was a bit anxious about any potential plot twists. But thankfully, the writers delivered a heartwarming ceremony without any unexpected drama – phew!

The fifth season of FBI: Most Wanted concluded on a hopeful note, but there were some doubts among the cast as the final episode approached. In the series finale, Ray Cannon (played by Edwin Hodge) married Cora Love (Caroline Harris), marking the first wedding in the FBI universe. However, despite the joyous event, Hodge confessed that he initially worried the scriptwriters might insert an unforeseen plot twist disrupting the ceremony.

During an exclusive chat with Us Weekly back in May, I voiced my apprehensions, querying, “What’s the deal at the wedding? I need to be informed, I don’t want any surprises. Am I getting shot? Is it a big production? And they reassured me, ‘No, no, no. The wedding is just a wedding. There won’t be any clashes with it.’ I replied, ‘Alright, that sounds good.'” Fortunately, I had no reason to worry about unexpected turmoil during the event.

Information regarding the upcoming sixth season, confirmed in April, is scarce. But when the show resumes in October, audiences will be privy to the continuation of Ray’s story with his newly-wedded spouse, along with updates on other characters.

On Tuesdays starting from October 15th at 10 PM Eastern Time, you can catch Season 6 of FBI: Most Wanted on CBS. This season is sandwiched between FBI airing at 8 PM and FBI: International at 9 PM.

In the final episode of Season 5, we saw Ray Cannon (Edwin Hodge) and Cora Love (Caroline Harris) get married, after Ray had proposed earlier in the season. The scene opened with a tense scenario, where the Fugitive Task Force thwarted an attempt to explode a bomb in Manhattan. This let everyone on the team, including Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott) and his companion Abby Deaver (Susan Misner), to make it to the wedding.

Hodge described the wedding filming as a all-hands-on-deck situation, with the costume department and even some crew members joining in the fun. Despite fears about potential narrative twists, the wedding went off well.

In Season 6, McDermott, Hodge, Roxy Sternberg (playing Sheryll Barnes), Keisha Castle-Hughes (in the role of Hana Gisbon), and Shantel VanSanten (as Nina Chase) will all be back. To save on production expenses, the number of episodes per season will be reduced slightly, meaning these actors will still receive payment for 20 out of the 22 episodes.
