‘I Was Laughing Hysterically’: Christina Perri Reveals Her Daughter is a Chappell Roan Fan

As a dedicated follower of Christina Perri, I find her journey as a mother and artist deeply inspiring. The way she integrates her music into the lives of her daughters, particularly through lullabies, is truly heartwarming. It’s fascinating to see how she has managed to maintain a connection with her audience, many of whom have grown up alongside her, by sharing her real-life experiences.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share the delightful tidbit that Christina Perri has graced us with! Her family life revolves around music, especially with her two cherubs, 22-year-old Pixie Rose and adorable 6-year-old Carmella. She’s made it clear that lullabies are a regular part of their routine. In a recent heartwarming anecdote, Perri playfully described Pixie as having a “spicy” personality. Now, isn’t that just music to our ears?

From the moment Perri first attempted to soothe me with her melodies, I’d always politely decline, being particular even at such a tender age. But then came that one lullaby, the one she crafted just for me – Pixie Dust. It was as if every note was tailored to my heartbeat, and in its rhythm, I found an acceptance I had long yearned for. That’s how the enchanting tune of Perri’s became my sweet lullaby.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share the news: Perri herself has penned tunes for both of her precious daughters and crafted soothing lullaby collections tailored just for them! From time to time, she even serenades us with her chart-topping hit, A Thousand Years, which has been magically reimagined as a charming children’s book.

Apart from occasional performances, she confesses that singing “You Are My Sunshine” moves her deeply. Additionally, there’s a unique tune called “You Mean the Whole Wide World to Me,” which she penned specifically for Carmella and included on her collection of lullabies.

At Perri’s home during the day, various types of music are usually playing, with pop tunes becoming more prevalent now that Carmella has developed a fondness for this genre. Carmella, who Perri describes as a pop culture aficionado, has a particular affinity for the artist Chappell Roan. However, bedtime remains unique because of the gentle lullabies played then.

In looking back at her professional journey, Perri found that she cherished the moments of singing lullabies far beyond her time as a pop star. While she delighted in her pop music phase, what she truly values now is her role as a mother, and the joy she finds in serenading her children.

Additionally, Perri mentioned that her daughters take great pride in her accomplishments, especially since one of her tunes has been transformed into a kids’ storybook. The song is familiar to them, making this an exceptional method for her to pass on her music to her daughters.

As an over-the-moon admirer, I must share the heartwarming tidbit that Christina Perri recently divulged: she cherishes including her little ones in her work whenever feasible. She expressed a sense of pure delight, stating that she’s currently experiencing a particularly enchanting phase of her career. Remarkably, when recording lullabies, she even gets them to join in with their angelic voices!

Perri’s summer reflections and upcoming book release

Perri pointed out that her daughters appreciate the fact she’s become an author, as her work often revolves around family themes. She noted that composing music on family subjects has always been effortless for her.

Perri shared that she simply lives authentic moments, primarily centered around motherhood and serenading her daughters with song. She finds this aspect of her life’s journey incredibly fulfilling and it resonates deeply with her. Importantly, none of her endeavors stem from deliberate overthinking or a desire to fabricate something inauthentic.

Instead of trying to hide or downplay the fact that she has become a mother or suggesting she’s had plenty of rest in the past six years, she openly discussed her current situation honestly. This approach seemed logical and sensible to her.

Perri believes she shares a unique bond with her followers due to their shared life experiences, as they’ve progressed through stages much like hers, growing up together with her. She’s grateful for this phase in her life, referring to it as a particularly rewarding time in her creative and musical journey, a “golden era” so to speak.

After a bustling summer spent with her spouse Paul Costabile and family, Perri is eagerly anticipating a slow-paced lifestyle and cherished moments together for the remainder of the year. She openly shared her longing for quality family time.

Perri shared that her child would soon begin first grade. She pointed out their summer experiences, such as their traditional vacation to the Jersey Shore, as memorable moments. She also expressed that this is her preferred week of the year to unwind at the beach with her friends.

She also mentioned their trips to Legoland, Disneyland, and Universal Studios, admitting that the summer had been busy and exhausting. Perri expressed her delight at seeing her younger daughter, Pixie, actively participating in activities.

As an overjoyed momma, I couldn’t help but observe the transformation of my little Pixie from a baby to a chatterbox, eagerly tagging along her older sister. This phase of motherhood is beyond words – it’s like my heart bursts with love for these two beautiful beings every single day. And guess what? Pre-orders are now available for my upcoming book, “A Thousand Years,” set to hit the shelves on April Fool’s Day 2025! Trust me, it’s going to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions, just like my journey as a mom.
