90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After: Patrick Mendes Shares His Take On Liz Woods And Big Ed’s ‘Complicated’ Relationship

As a dedicated follower and someone who has seen my fair share of reality TV drama, I must say that the latest episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After was nothing short of explosive! The way Patrick Mendes, the weightlifting star from Brazil, so casually dropped the bombshell about Liz Woods’ antics with both Jayson and Big Ed left me absolutely stunned.

8/25 was a day I’ll never forget, as 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After wrapped up its thrilling Season 8 with the Tell All: No Limits episode! The final chapter, No Limits Part 5, was brimming with high-stakes drama. From Gino and Jasmine’s doomed romance to Manuel’s jaw-dropping revelation, and a glimpse into Angela and Michael’s relationship progress, it was an emotional rollercoaster ride! As the couples bid farewell after living together for nearly a month, I couldn’t help but feel every twist and turn along with them.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’d like to share some thoughts on the intricate relationship dynamics between Liz Woods and Big Ed, as observed during their time on 90 Day Fiancé. Now, Patrick Mendes, the charismatic 33-year-old cast member who’s captivating audiences with his romance with Brazilian wife Thais Ramone, has weighed in on this complex situation. Here’s what he had to say:

In the confessional for the August 25th episode, the former professional weightlifter-turned-reality star expressed that Ed and Liz are quite complex. He added, “Liz, to be honest, seems a bit questionable to me, if you catch my drift.”

Drawing upon his personal experience shared with them under one roof, Mendes offered insights into Liz Wood’s questionable behavior. He alleged that she engaged in romantic activities with both Jayson Hitch and Big Ed, a fact that was considered scandalous.

The following evening found Jayson carrying her, and the next, she was holding hands with Ed, according to a fellow actor. Moreover, Ed mentioned that Liz had complimented his abilities in that regard. However, the residents of the 90 Day Fiance household are skeptical about Ed’s statements due to his known tendency to boast excessively.

In the reality show “Tell All: No Limits,” Liz and Ed, who ended their engagement in April, are grappling with the intense emotional fallout from their split. During their appearance on the show, Pat Mendes chose to engage Ed directly to gain insight into their turbulent relationship and subtly address their breakup.

He asked Ed about his complex post-breakup bond with Liz and whether the ex-couple was trying to give love a second chance. The former wrestler, who once trained for the Olympics, also morally policed Jayson as to why he was tolerating Liz’s outrageous acts, saying he’d be long done with her had he been in Jayson’s place. “It did seem like you were going for one more time for old-time’s sake type of thing,” Mendes told Ed in the episode, per TVInsider.

In the sixth episode of Season 8, titled “The Itsy Bitsy Liar”, viewers experienced a stunning and emotional turn of events in Liz and Big Ed’s relationship. Big Ed unexpectedly called off their wedding following the PastaGate incident on their flight. He later confessed to TVInsider that he has no regrets about his decision, as he had foreseen, three months before the planned wedding, that their relationship was not sustainable.

Yet, it’s worth noting that Ed, a photographer residing in San Diego, openly acknowledged his admiration for Liz’s determination during their tumultuous relationship, which included no less than thirteen separations.

In contrast, while Big Ed believes the wedding didn’t seem authentic, Liz instead feels she never received an explanation or resolution about her ex’s unexpected change of heart. Despite maintaining a mutual affection and care for each other, they don’t feel compelled to rekindle their romantic relationship or untangle their complicated dynamic.

All episodes of 90 Day Fiance: Tell All: No Limits are now streaming on Hulu.
