On August 23rd (Friday), Jayne shared the two key phases that eventually resulted in the downfall of her relationship. Secondly, she struggled with her relationship problems hidden from view after being married for twenty years. Lastly, she chose to overlook obstacles in order to preserve her inner tranquility.

In a nutshell, Jayne admitted she tends to maintain harmony, and sometimes this might involve overlooking certain issues. However, she acknowledged that there could be instances where she deliberately ignored things, such as Tom’s involvement with other women, simply because she didn’t want to confront them directly.

The actress explained that a relationship ends when there’s mutual feelings of contempt. By the end, Jayne felt this on both sides of the relationship with Girardi, who was later disbarred due to fraud accusations. Although she truly loved him, their marriage was not important to him, leading to the breakdown of their long-term partnership.

In due time, a confidant revealed to People that Girardi’s infidelity with several women was the primary cause of the well-known divorce. This information was something Jayne had been aware of for a long time, but she chose not to act on it to preserve their relationship.

Just over a month following his divorce, Thomas Girardi faced accusations of embezzling and defrauding $15 million from clients, leading to multiple lawsuits, including those involving Erika Jayne. Once a prominent attorney, Girardi’s damaged reputation led to the closure of his LA-based law firm, Girardi & Keese, and he was officially disbarred in 2022.

Nevertheless, the ex-attorney, now 85 years old, has refuted all claims leveled against him in the lawsuits. On August 23rd, Girardi publicly defended himself for the first time since the accusation, stating that he had never claimed his lawyer earnings, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.

Despite the chaos on one side, Erika Jayne remains a prominent figure among the main cast members on the Bravo reality series, joined by Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, and some fresh faces.
