Jessie Buckley turned heads at the US premiere of “The Bride!” in New York City on March 3rd. Arriving at AMC Lincoln Square, she posed on the red carpet in a striking Chanel outfit that immediately caught everyone’s eye.
For the event, Buckley wore a Chanel outfit from the pre-fall 2026 collection, created by designer Matthieu Blazy. It featured a basic black top and a statement-making, long skirt with a bold, neon cat pattern.

The premiere event showcased the new film, The Bride, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Set in 1930s Chicago, the movie offers a fresh take on the Frankenstein story. Jessie Buckley stars as Ida, a young woman revived by a solitary Frankenstein, played by Christian Bale, with assistance from a scientist portrayed by Annette Bening. Unlike the traditional tale, Ida becomes a force to be reckoned with, causing disruption throughout the city.
While promoting her latest film, Buckley discussed her preference for demanding roles. She explained that she wants to tackle challenging parts while she still can, as she feels time is limited for taking risks. This approach has been evident in the projects she’s chosen recently, according to reports from the press event.
