More recently, I stumbled upon – just prior to your team starting work on White Lotus – I crossed paths with none other than Mike White in a restaurant. Naturally, we began conversing since we had met briefly before, and he turned out to be quite humorous and laid-back.

Mike White ran into O’Brien at a Bangkok restaurant prior to filming the latest season of The White Lotus. They had crossed paths a few times previously, as shared by O’Brien. Apparently, White is both amusing and relaxed in nature. Upon seeing him, O’Brien recalled having a pleasant time in Thailand and expressed interest in joining the production if there was a suitable role for him in the upcoming season.

Swiftly responding, he said, “Well, you understand that it’s filled with adult-oriented activities. And I expressed that I was capable of taking on such a role, perhaps as a male escort or something similar.”

In the podcast, Walton Goggins took part and, with his heartfelt sentiments, he expressed that this would be your final podcast, Conan, encouraging you to stand by White.

O’Brien inquired of the Fallout star, “Could it be possible for me to portray that role, or might I realistically become a ghoul instead?”

In response, Goggkins stated, “I believe you have the capability to excel in both roles. I feel confident that you can convincingly portray that character on screen, and also embody those traits in real life.” To this, O’Brien graciously responded, “Thank you for your confidence in me.”
