Fans Want a ‘Brightburn’-Style ‘Batman’ Movie, Director Already Picked

As a long-time fan of both horror and superhero genres, I must say that the idea of a Brightburn-style Batman horror movie is absolutely intriguing! It’s like combining two of my favorite things – darkness and caped crusaders.

Do you recall the film titled Brightburn, co-produced by James Gunn and released a few years back? It wasn’t a box office sensation, but it gained a dedicated following who appreciated its chilling portrayal of a world confronting an unstoppable force that was eerily human-like, making it downright terrifying.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but reflect on the captivating ending of the film, hinting at more characters akin to our titular antagonist. There were whispers about broadening this cinematic universe, yet regrettably, no progress was made. However, in spite of this, the movie remains etched in our memories, and I have an intriguing idea to share with you all.

Have you ever pondered over the concept of a Batman film with a chilling, horror twist, similar to Brightburn? That sounds intriguing, doesn’t it? Imagine a Batman movie with a sinister twist where our hero is portrayed as a terrifying creature, much like some comic book interpretations of the character. It might not become a reality, but let’s explore this idea!

Brainstorming innovative concepts may sometimes prove challenging, but it’s certainly engaging! It involves merging different thoughts and giving birth to an exciting, fresh idea that sounds intriguing. Even though the possibility of witnessing such a film on screen is minimal in this particular instance, we couldn’t help but let our imagination run wild.

From my perspective as a fan, this Batman film wouldn’t resemble the movie “Brightburn” in terms of story and character traits, because unlike Brightburn’s character, Batman isn’t superhuman by nature. Instead, he embodies the concept of a superhero. To keep the narrative engaging, the creators could either portray him as a monster-like figure, similar to his depiction in the “Batman & Dracula” comic book trilogy (although with some differences), or they might decide to make him into a superhuman antagonist that still maintains some fidelity to the original comics.

The film is certain to be a chilling horror production, similar to “Brightburn,” but with an increased sense of eeriness and reduced superhero elements. In terms of originality, this movie will break new ground as no Batman film has ventured this deeply into the horror genre, although many have approached the boundary.

Given those circumstances, we’re convinced that a suitable director for such a film could be none other than James Wan! Yes, he is renowned for crafting some of the most terrifying horror series in our era and also directed the ‘Aquaman’ films. In our opinion, he would be an outstanding choice to helm this movie!
