The stars of Peaky Blinders came together in Birmingham for the world premiere of their new movie, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. Rebecca Ferguson particularly stood out during the event.
The premiere was held at Symphony Hall and signaled a key milestone leading up to the film’s launch. It will first be shown in certain theaters on March 6, 2026, and then become available on Netflix starting March 20th.
Anya Taylor-Joy and Cillian Murphy both attended the event. Murphy, reprising his role as Thomas Shelby, wore a traditional suit, while Taylor-Joy made a statement in a striking gold dress. Her outfit garnered attention, giving fans their first good look at her character in the film.

In the film, actress Ferguson portrays the character Kaulo, a powerful psychic. The plot suggests a possible romantic connection may develop between Kaulo and Tommy Shelby.

The movie picks up the story a few years after the end of the TV show. Tommy isn’t in Birmingham when it begins; he’s living abroad during World War II. But his old life quickly catches up to him.

The film features both returning actors and some new additions to the cast, with Tim Roth joining as Beckett, a character connected to British fascism. Unfortunately, several stars from the original series—like Sophie Rundle, Stephen Graham, and Barry Keoghan—didn’t attend the premiere.

This movie has been years in the making. Steven Knight, the creator of the original series, first mentioned the possibility of continuing the story as a film back in 2021, and it was officially announced soon after.
