Who Dies in SCREAM 7? Ghostface Collects A LOT of Fresh Meat

I just finished watching Scream 7, and wow, it did not hold back! There was so much intense action and some truly shocking deaths. The Ghostface killers were relentless, expanding their terror beyond Woodsboro and into Sidney Prescott’s new home in Piney Grove. Of course, the big mystery is always who is behind the mask, but I was also on the edge of my seat wondering who wouldn’t survive. So, who actually died in the latest installment? And did any of our beloved original characters fall victim? Let’s break it all down.

Sidney, Gale, Mindy, and Chad All Survived Scream 7

It’s no surprise that Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers both made it through another Ghostface attack. As the main characters, they’re expected to be back for Scream 8. It wouldn’t have made sense for Neve Campbell to return only to have her character killed off. While I thought Mindy or Chad might be in danger in Scream 7, both survived and are continuing to work with Gale as journalists. We can expect to see them in any future Scream movies as well.

The Opening Act Kills, Of Course: Scott and Madison Die at Stu Macher’s House

The opening scene of Scream 7 features a terrifying attack. Scott, a huge fan of the Ghostface killings, brings his girlfriend Madison to the house where Stu Macher committed his crimes – now a museum and Airbnb. Although a Ghostface robot makes Madison nervous, she stays to please Scott.

Suddenly, Ghostface attacks, fatally stabbing Scott before pursuing Madison upstairs. She fights back, managing to push him over the railing, then desperately clings to a chandelier. Unable to pull herself back to safety, she falls, and Ghostface quickly rolls over and stabs her. Though wounded, Madison still lives as Ghostface then pours gasoline on her and the floor, setting them both ablaze in a horrifying scene.

Sidney’s Daughter Tatum Survived But ALL Her Friends Are Dead

It’s safe to say Tatum had a really rough experience in Scream 7. She was completely scared, didn’t stand a chance against Ghostface, and everyone she knew was killed – absolutely everyone. Including her boyfriend. Let’s remember who she lost.

Ben Brown (Tatum’s Boyfriend)

Okay, so Tatum’s boyfriend always seemed a bit off, but honestly, he just acted like a really moody older guy, even though he was still a teenager. When I saw a video on his laptop – he was making a fake video using Stu’s face! – I knew she was right to suspect him in the killings. She knocked him out, which felt like the right move. Later, I saw him find her in Piney Grove, and then Ghostface just… attacked. It was awful to watch him get stabbed right in front of Tatum. Seriously, what a mess!

Hannah Thurman and Aaron Die in a Theater

The movie features a scene clearly inspired by Scream 2, where a character named Hannah is killed during a theater rehearsal. Ghostface first kills Aaron, the person operating the equipment, off-screen. Then, he violently attacks Hannah while she’s suspended in the air, causing a gruesome death – a scene that was actually shown in the trailer, so it wasn’t a surprise.

Chloe Parker and Lucas Bowden Go From Suspects to Dead Meat

Tatum’s group – including her boyfriend and the Meeks twins – get together at a tavern and try to figure out who seems most suspicious. They quickly settle on Lucas, a teenage neighbor of Sidney’s who’s really into true crime, especially the Woodsboro murders. Chloe is present mostly to fulfill the diversity requirement of the group.

Ghostface quickly attacks Chloe, and she’s unintentionally killed when a shard of glass wounds her neck. Lucas is also murdered, brutally impaled on a beer tap. The Meeks twins are hurt but survive, and don’t reappear until the film’s conclusion – they seem remarkably protected throughout the story.

Karl Gibbs, the Ghostface Accomplice, Dies By Vehicular Manslaughter

Thankfully, Gale Weathers intervened when Sidney, Mark, and Tatum were being attacked by Ghostface inside their homes. After he was knocked into the street, Gale quickly drove her car over him, killing him immediately.

Ghostface Killers Jessica Bowden and Marco Davis Both Die in Scream 7

For the latest installment of Scream, the Ghostface killer doesn’t survive. Sidney’s neighbor, Jessica, is fixated on her and tries to push her back into the role of a ‘final girl,’ even attempting to mold another character, Tatum, into a similar persona. However, Sidney and her daughter quickly put an end to Jessica’s plans, fatally shooting her multiple times in the face with such force that it caused severe disfigurement.

Sidney swiftly shot and killed Marco, a worker from Fallbrook. Her husband, Mark Evans, was near death, but thankfully, he recovered.

That’s who dies in Scream 7. Rest in peace people whom we barely knew and will not miss.
