“With laughter echoing, we ventured towards a secluded waterfall nestled within verdant mountains. The excitement was palpable as it marked our long-awaited return to school,” the advocate penned down.

Speaking about their shared passion for music, Yousafzai recounted an instance where she and Moniba bravely performed Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” atop the tallest rock, with all their teachers and classmates as witnesses. This marked the start of her becoming a fan of Taylor Swift, and attending a Taylor Swift concert after enduring a period when music and art were prohibited in her country made Yousafzai acutely aware of her good fortune.
