He plays Tom Loftis, a somewhat timid mayor who unintentionally unleashes an old curse while trying to boost tourism in his New England town. The series, executive produced by Hiro Murai and featuring Stephen Root and Dale Dickey, represents a different kind of role for Rhys.

Rhys will also be in season two of the legal drama Presumed Innocent and will voice the villain Dinosaurus on the animated series Invincible later this year. Despite balancing these big projects with their life in Brooklyn, the couple remains grounded and supportive in a sometimes unpredictable industry.
