They’re in a desperate race against time to stop the villainous Gabriel from getting his hands on the Entity’s program and unleashing its devastating power. This is the eighth film in the series, continuing the story from ‘Dead Reckoning,’ and features incredible practical stunts. Tom Cruise returns as the legendary agent in this blockbuster, one of the most costly movies ever made.

‘Scary Movie’ (2000)

This funny movie playfully imitates the popular teen slasher films of the late 1990s. The story follows a group of clumsy teenagers who accidentally kill someone with their car and try to cover it up. A year later, a masked killer starts hunting them. The movie constantly makes fun of common horror movie clichés, especially those found in films like ‘Scream’ and ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’. Directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, it was a huge success in theaters and led to several sequels.

‘Scream 2’ (1997)

Two years after the terrifying murders in Woodsboro, Sidney Prescott is attempting to rebuild her life at Windsor College. However, her newfound peace is disrupted when a new killer starts using the Ghostface mask to terrorize the campus. The original survivors must once again use their wits to survive against a killer who seems to be following the clichés of horror movie sequels. Directed by Wes Craven, the film also offers a commentary on violence in media and the predictable nature of sequels.

‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants’ (2025)

SpongeBob sets out on a hilarious and action-packed ocean adventure to impress Mr. Krabs. He chases after the legendary ghost pirate, The Flying Dutchman, venturing into the spooky depths of the Underworld. Along the way, SpongeBob and his friends encounter more danger than ever before in completely unexplored waters. This animated movie, directed by Derek Drymon, features the original voice actors from the TV show, plus some exciting new celebrity guests, all working together on a massive underwater rescue.

‘Due Justice’ (2023)

Max, a former Marine and now a lawyer, suffers unimaginable tragedy when his wife and daughter are brutally murdered by a criminal cartel. Overwhelmed by grief, he gives up his normal life and embarks on a violent quest for revenge, systematically taking apart the cartel to find those responsible. This intense thriller showcases realistic action and explores the heavy price of seeking justice.

‘Scream’ (2022)

A quarter-century after terrifying murders shook the town of Woodsboro, a new Ghostface killer appears, targeting a group of teenagers and bringing dark secrets from the past back to life. This forces the original survivors – Sidney Prescott, Gale Weathers, and Dewey Riley – to come back and help the new generation. The film combines classic horror with a look at the dangers of obsessive fandom and today’s internet culture.

‘Scream VI’ (2023)

Following the latest terrifying events in Woodsboro, the remaining survivors attempt to rebuild their lives by moving to New York City. However, their dreams of a normal college experience are shattered when a new Ghostface begins hunting them down. This time, the killer stalks his victims in the vast and frightening backdrop of the city, including its subway tunnels. The film ratchets up the suspense as the characters discover that the familiar patterns of the Ghostface killings no longer apply in this new, urban setting.

‘Scream’ (1996)

A quiet town in California is plunged into terror when a masked killer starts attacking high school students. Sidney Prescott quickly becomes the main target of this obsessed psychopath, known as Ghostface. To survive, the characters must use what they know about common horror movie tropes. Directed by Wes Craven, this film brought new life to the horror genre with its clever self-awareness and a central mystery of who the killer is.

‘Roofman’ (2025)

This thrilling movie, based on a real-life story, follows Jeffrey Manchester, an ex-Army Ranger who starts robbing fast-food restaurants in a very unusual way – by drilling through the roofs. After breaking out of prison, he spends half a year hiding inside a toy store, meticulously planning his next steps to stay hidden from the police. Things get complicated when he falls for a divorced mother who is captivated by his charm. Directed by Derek Cianfrance, the film combines the suspense of a police chase with a surprising love story as the authorities get closer to catching him.

‘The Running Man’ (2025)

Set in a dark and troubled future, a father named Ben Richards risks everything to save his ailing daughter. He enters a dangerous televised hunt where he’s pursued by both trained killers and everyday people, with a large cash prize awaiting anyone who can eliminate him. If he survives for thirty days, the money is his. But Ben’s courage and resourcefulness unexpectedly make him a popular hero, and a problem for the powerful, controlling media company running the show. This thrilling science-fiction film, directed by Edgar Wright, is a fresh take on the story from Stephen King‘s novel.
