As a die-hard fan of this enchanting series, I am absolutely thrilled about the return of Emily in Paris for another season! The intricate web of relationships, the captivating fashion, and the delightful charm of the city of lights make it a must-watch.
Netflix’s popular original series, Emily in Paris, featuring Lily Collins as the main character, has returned for another season. The first half of Season 4 is now available on the streaming service, bringing back the characters and their entanglements of drama, friendships, intricate relationship dynamics, and an abundance of stylish fashion!
If you haven’t begun watching the series yet, let me catch you up on Season 3. The season finale saw Camille calling off her wedding with Gabriel following her revelation of his feelings for Emily and reciprocated emotions between them in front of her boyfriend Alfie, leading to a split. Meanwhile, Emily discovers that Camille is pregnant with Gabriel’s child and witnesses Camille with another woman. As we move forward into Season 4, the story will delve deeper into their complex relationships, featuring more of Sylvie’s husband Laurent, Mindy’s boyfriend Nicolas, and other intriguing characters. Before diving in, however, here’s an extensive rundown of our cast and their roles.
Lily Collins as Emily
Lily Collins returns as Emily in the fourth season of Emily In Paris. This time, an American woman who’s in Paris for work finds herself in a complex romantic situation – initially a love triangle, which expands to a quadrangle by season 3. The upcoming season promises to unravel how Emily manages the fallout from Camille and Gabriel’s relationship, repairs her friendship with Camille, and rekindles her connection with Alfie.
Collins boasts a substantial resume within the entertainment field. She’s widely recognized for films such as Love, Rosie, Mirror Mirror, among others. Lately, she has been featured in the movies MaXXXine and Windfall.
Camille Razat as Camille
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share my take on the captivating tale of Camille Razat’s character. She portrays Camille, a cherished friend to Emily and long-term partner of Gabriel, whose relationship seemed destined for the altar, only to be intermittently rocky. Yet, their path to matrimony was fraught with an unexpected twist: Camille’s clandestine affair with an artist named Sofia.
Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
In a different phrasing: Lucas Bravo portrays Gabriel, a charismatic sous chef in Emily in Paris whose feelings for Emily have been undecided since the first season. Until now, his long-standing relationship with Camille had kept him from pursuing these emotions. The upcoming Season 4 will delve into how Gabriel handles being the father of Camille’s unborn child while dealing with his feelings towards Emily as their relationship evolves.
Lucas is also known for his roles in Ticket to Paradise, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, and Smart Ass.
Ashley Park as Mindy
As your trusted lifestyle advisor, allow me to share an intriguing narrative from one of my favorite shows: I, or rather Mindy, find myself in a complex love triangle. Mindy plays the role of Ashley Park, Emily’s closest confidante, who unexpectedly finds herself in a similar predicament. In Season 4, you’ll see me dating none other than childhood friend Nicolas, while also developing feelings for band member Benoit. Quite the tangled web, isn’t it?
Ashley Park has also appeared in the Mean Girls remake, Joy Ride, and Only Murders in the Building.
Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
In the upcoming Season 4, we’ll delve into the fallout of Lucian Laviscount’s character, Alfie, and Emily’s relationship as he discovers her lingering feelings for Gabriel. The storyline will unfold, depicting how Alfie and Emily deal with their separation and the tumultuous aftermath that follows.
Laviscount has previously appeared in The Bye Bye Man, Snatch, and Last Sentinel.
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau
In a more simplified version, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu portrays Sylvie, a character who used to manage a fashion marketing firm in Paris. Emily had worked there previously. As the third season concludes, Sylvie embarks on establishing her own agency and experiences a complicated dynamic with her former spouse, Laurent G.
Philippine has also appeared in Call My Agent!, Two Brothers, and The Crown.
In this production, Samuel Arnold takes on the role of Julien, one of Emily’s trusted coworkers. Bruno Gouery acts as Luc, another coworker. William Abadie is Antoine Lamber, the proprietor of Maison Lavaux, and Arnaud Binard portrays Laurent G, a former husband to Sylvie who runs a club in Saint-Tropez.
In this new setup, Melia Kreiling takes on the role of Sofia, a Greek artist who becomes involved with Camille. Previously seen characters Jin Xuan Mao and Kevin Dias reprise their roles as Etienne and Benoit, members of Mindy’s band. Lastly, Paul Forman, who was introduced in Season 3, will portray Nicolas De Leon, Mindy’s current love interest.
