Here’s a selection of some of the most interesting films you can stream right now.
‘The Smashing Machine’ (2025)

‘The Smashing Machine’ is a biographical drama telling the story of MMA fighter Mark Kerr. The film shows Kerr’s rapid success in the UFC alongside his difficult battle with addiction. Directed by Benny Safdie and starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, this raw and honest portrayal of the fighter’s life is now available to stream.
‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’ (2025)

I just finished watching this really interesting movie, and I have to tell you, it’s a wild ride! It’s a dark comedy about a mom dealing with her daughter’s strange illness, and it’s surprisingly funny and heartbreaking at the same time. Rose Byrne is fantastic in the lead role, and get this – Conan O’Brien is in it! It’s directed by Mary Bronstein, and it really gets into how tough things can be for families going through a crisis. Honestly, it’s a really clever film that balances the humor with some really raw moments. You can stream it now, and I definitely recommend checking it out!
‘Paddington 2’ (2017)

Paddington 2 tells the story of the charming bear as he tries to find the perfect pop-up book for his Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday. Things get complicated when a struggling actor, played by Hugh Grant, steals the book and Paddington is wrongly accused of the theft. While in prison, Paddington needs help from his friends and family to prove his innocence and get the gift back. You can watch this popular sequel this Friday, February 27th.
‘The Shape of Water’ (2017)

‘The Shape of Water’ is a critically acclaimed fantasy drama set in 1962, during the Cold War. It tells the story of a lonely, mute janitor who works in a top-secret government lab. Her life is transformed when she discovers and connects with a mysterious, captured amphibian creature. Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the film beautifully examines how people connect and communicate, even in difficult and restrictive times, and is now available for streaming.
‘Masterminds’ (2016)

‘Masterminds’ is a comedy based on the real 1997 Loomis Fargo robbery. The movie centers around an armored car driver, played by Zach Galifianakis, who gets talked into a huge cash heist. When the robbery doesn’t go as planned, he’s forced to go on the run, dodging both the police and his quirky partners in crime.
‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked’ (2011)

‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked’ follows the famous chipmunk trio on a family cruise that goes awry. After tumbling overboard, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore find themselves stranded on a deserted tropical island. While their caretaker, Dave Seville, desperately searches for them, the chipmunks have to rely on their cleverness to stay alive. Expect plenty of the upbeat music and silly physical comedy that fans love from the ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’ series.
‘Robin Hood’ (2010)

Ridley Scott’s ‘Robin Hood’ tells the story of the famous archer after he returns from the Third Crusade. Starring Russell Crowe, the film depicts his arrival in a troubled and corrupt Nottingham, where he ultimately sparks a revolt against a failing monarchy. The movie explores the historical backdrop of the Magna Carta and the political turmoil of medieval England.
‘Valentine’s Day’ (2010)

‘Valentine’s Day,’ directed by Garry Marshall, tells several love stories that all connect in Los Angeles. The movie follows a wide range of characters – some in established relationships, others looking for love – as they deal with the ups and downs of romance on Valentine’s Day. It’s a lighthearted comedy that looks at the challenges and joys of finding love in today’s world.
‘Monster-in-Law’ (2005)

‘Monster-in-Law’ is a funny movie about Charlotte, who thinks she’s met the man of her dreams. Her happiness is put to the test when she encounters his mother, a strong-willed former news reporter who is determined to break them up. They fall in love in the 1940s, but are kept apart by World War II and disapproval from their families.
