The narrative of “The Shade” revolves around 20-year-old character Chris Galust, portraying Ryan Beckman, who is grappling with the loss of his father. Residing with his mother, Laura Benanti’s portrayal, and working as an apprentice at a neighborhood tattoo studio, Ryan concurrently looks after his younger sibling, Sam Duncan’s character James.

Emerging talent Chris Galust has made appearances in films such as Mending the Line and Castle Freak. Dylan McTee can be spotted in Sweet/Vicious and Roswell, New Mexico.
