Jonathan Majors Makes Movie Comeback With Untitled Daily Wire Action Film

Jonathan Majors is back on a movie set, and it’s coming via The Daily Wire.

According to Deadline, actor Jonathan Majors has begun filming a new action movie in South Carolina. This is his first movie role in four years.

Jonathan Majors’ Daily Wire movie details

Kyle Rankin is directing and wrote the script for a new movie. Details like the title and full cast haven’t been revealed yet, but Deadline reports the film is an action story inspired by classics like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers. It focuses on a group of teenage boys who unite to fight off invaders.

Ben Shapiro and Dallas Sonnier are producing a project for The Daily Wire, with Bonfire Legend also involved. Travis Mills, Lillian Campbell, and Sydney Aucreman are also serving as producers.

Ben Majors is credited as an executive producer through his company, Tall Street Productions. Caleb Robinson and Mike Richards are also executive producers for The Daily Wire on the project.

Crew and creative team

The film’s key creative team includes Kristopher Kimlin as the cinematographer, David Guglielmo in charge of casting, Vincent Reynaud as the production designer, and Emma Fleming designing the costumes.

Why this is being called a “comeback”

This is Majors’ first movie shoot since his 2023 controversy involving his former girlfriend.

The actor played Kang the Conqueror in both Loki Season 2 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and was originally planned to lead Avengers 5. However, following the disappointing performance of Quantumania, Marvel canceled plans for “The Kang Dynasty” and instead brought Robert Downey Jr. back for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars.

Majors is also known for the Creed III and Magazine Dreams movies.

What’s next for Majors

Majors is set to star in Merciless, a supernatural thriller about revenge, directed by Martin Villeneuve.
