He shared some insights about this new chapter of his life, describing his in-laws as particularly entertaining.

In a chat with Seth Meyers, the 41-year-old comedian flaunted his wedding ring and enthusiastically announced, “I got married! It’s amazing.” He shared warm words about Munn’s Vietnamese family and disclosed that they only address him by his full name.

John Mulaney shared his thoughts on a late-night show, stating that marrying into a big Vietnamese family has been one of the most enjoyable experiences he’s had. He often goes by his full name, John Mulaney, even with them, as he noted, “They always call me ‘John Mulaney – full name.’ Full name, all the time: ‘Olivia’s here with John Mulaney.'”

On national television, the author publicly acknowledged and complimented his mother-in-law, but also took a moment to affectionately refer to Munn’s mom, Kim Schmid, as “mom.”

Moreover, he combined his Caucasian relatives with his Vietnamese in-laws. Mulaney quipped that “The Luong family” is quite open when it comes to asking questions, and inquired about his financial status and slender physique upon their first encounter, as reported by BuzzFeed. In contrast, his family tends to be reserved or private regarding many topics, including health and money matters.

44-year-olds John Mulaney and Olivia Munn got married in a small, intimate ceremony at a friend’s home in New York. In May 2021, the couple began dating, which was about a year after John Mulaney’s divorce from his former wife, artist Anna Marie Tendler, was completed. Their son was born on November 24, 2021.

In that particular year, the comedian known for hosting John Mulaney: Baby J shared insights about his relationship with Munn, who initially gained fame as a television host in her early career. “In the spring,” he mentioned during an interview with Seth Meyers, “I traveled to Los Angeles and met, and began dating, an exceptional woman named Olivia.” This is when he disclosed their pregnancy news to the public.

She reflected on the life-threatening disease while expressing worries for her child. “It comes at you, and you have no choice but to face it head-on,” Munn said of her approach to beat the disease. The Hollywood actress underwent a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery and later, a hysterectomy.  

During a challenging period where she underwent four significant surgeries within a year, Mulaney remained steadfast, admiring his wife’s remarkable strength. Now that Munn has moved past the critical phase, the couple are beginning an exciting new chapter in their lives, enriched by their “joyful” trio of family members.
