As a seasoned gamer who’s been through countless hours of pixelated adventures and virtual battles, I must say, the Minecraft x Lush collaboration is a dream come true! It’s like my two favorite worlds have collided, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
Is it amazing to think that Minecraft has been around for 15 years now? In honor of this milestone, the world’s most popular video game (second only to Tetris) has teamed up with the quirky and vibrant skincare brand Lush to produce an incredibly exciting collaboration.
Lush is renowned for their soaps, shampoos, and particularly, bath bombs that release a bubbly, colorful, aromatic spectacle when dropped into a warm tub. In collaboration with Minecraft, Lush has developed an entire product line inspired by the game, and they’ve even introduced some exclusive items within the game itself. Here’s all you need to know about the 15th anniversary partnership between Minecraft and Lush.
Lush Has Created Tons of Minecraft Goodies
We all have to shower and take baths (or, at least we all should), so why not bring your love of gaming to the tub? Lush has made a new lineup of products, all inspired by Minecraft, that are fun, colorful, and smell great. Some highlights include goodies like the Totem of Undying soap. In the game, this helpful item can spare you from death, but in the shower, it’s loaded with scents of coconut and orange…so while it can’t save your life, it may save your next date night?
Instead of a creeper detonating being more characteristic of Minecraft, try this: Experience an explosive creeper-like sensation in your shower with Lush’s Shower Bomb, which triggers a creeper-style explosion while releasing delightful scents of bergamot and lemongrass. Remarkably, Lush has mimicked the fundamental structure of Minecraft by creating a grass block that transforms your bathtub water into a luxurious green hue with undertones of neroli. What’s more, this grass block is crafted from dirt and clay, providing genuine authenticity while also being beneficial for your skin.
Besides the milk bucket, diamond pickaxe, Enderman, and skeleton, there are numerous other items in this collection too. For a complete view, you can explore it further right here.
You Can Now Make Bath Bombs in Minecraft Too
Participants in the collaboration aren’t required to purchase soap as a prerequisite. Lush, known for its distinctive bath bombs, has ventured into the Minecraft world. Gaming enthusiasts can download the complimentary Lush Bath Bombs Add-On for Minecraft and start creating!
The extra feature enables players to manufacture four legendary Lush bath bombs: Intergalactic, Twilight, Lakes, and Big Blue. Each one generates its own special, distinct outcome, such as water breathing or defying gravity, and can even be applied to game entities to slow them down. Additionally, you’ll find a new itinerant Lush vendor in the game where you can buy and trade items.
