Days Of Our Lives Spoilers For August 13: Brady’s Reckless Drinking Puts Sarah And Xander In Danger

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience observing the twists and turns of daytime soap operas, I must say that this week’s Days of Our Lives has been nothing short of dramatic. The intertwining lives of these characters always manage to keep me on the edge of my seat, and this week was no exception.

On Tuesday, August 13, in Days of Our Lives, Brady gets overly intoxicated while socializing with Fiona, potentially putting Sarah and Xander in a perilous predicament. Happily married couple Sarah and Xander are enjoying their second wedding anniversary by going out on the town and having a fantastic time.

Simultaneously, Brady and Fiona are indulging in alcohol, albeit without a specific motive. They clink glasses to various subjects such as Sarah and Xander, the late Victor, and even peculiar items like a streetlamp post. However, their drinking session takes a grim turn when they decide to drive, paving the way for a devastating incident.

In a firm belief that the enigmatic lady they stumbled upon is none other than his deceased spouse, Abigail, Chad refrains from pursuing a DNA test. Instead, he persistently urges her to recall her identity. He employs various methods, including offering her a bracelet, in the hope that it might trigger some recollection.

For now, Brady accepts Tate’s explanation for being in Salem since he’s worried about his mother Theresa, who is currently imprisoned. Similarly, Maggie tolerates Holly’s lies, allowing Tate and Holly more time to spend together.

Given their uncertainty about how much time they have left, they wish to make the best use of it. Pondering over the fact that they haven’t made love yet, Holly finds herself questioning the situation, more so after Sophia’s remarks. She is contemplating altering this and using it as an opportunity to impress Sophia.

Days of Our Lives Recap

Earlier on Days of Our Lives, Kate sent a text message to Abe from a pub, inquiring if he had informed Bonnie that there was absolutely no chance she would be cast as Cassandra Lovegood. At the same time, Bonnie was eagerly heading to the Body and Soul office for her audition.

Following a conversation with Ava in The Square regarding their recent employment changes, Johnny proceeds to link up with Abe. Later on, Stefan challenges Ava about her interactions with Gabi. Ava reassures him that she corroborated his account, stating they only shared two brief kisses, and advises him against disclosing this information to avoid damaging his relationship with Gabi.

In the DiMera office, Connie feigns empathy while informing Gabi that she overheard Ava and Kristen discussing Stefan’s alleged infidelity. Enraged, Gabi breaks a vase in her fury. Connie, playing along, expresses concern about keeping this secret from her friend. Infuriated, Gabi exits to confront Stefan, cursing him as a “deceitful, unfaithful scoundrel.” Connie can’t help but smile triumphantly.

At the Salem Inn, Leo is penning his Body and Soul screenplay when Hattie shows up, adorned in attire themed around hearts. This unexpected fashion choice catches Leo off guard, more so when she produces pork rinds and root beer instead of the wine and caviar he anticipated. Hattie maintains that she’s the leading actress, shocking Leo by her willingness to sacrifice everything for a daytime drama. Amidst their typical disagreements, they manage to find common ground in their shared snacks.

In my favorite local watering hole, I, being the overly passionate fan, stumbled upon Kate, clearly upset. She was venting about Abe making the questionable decision to cast Hattie and pushing her to give Leo a chance, all while Bonnie now covets a role. Kate has decided to let Hattie and Leo stumble on their own path, but she flat-out refuses to open the door for Bonnie.

At Body & Soul, Bonnie is excited to try out for a role. Abe suggests she needs more practice, but Johnny offers to guide her. With apprehension, Bonnie taps into her past portrayal of Adrienne and delivers an emotional act. Impressed by her performance, both Johnny and Abe offer her the part.

Later on, Abe shares with Kate that he assigned the part to Bonnie. Simultaneously, Johnny commends Bonnie’s audition while offering constructive criticism. In an attempt to dodge his feedback, Bonnie playfully engages Johnny.

In a state of lingering doubt, Gabi challenges Stefan and Ava, who assert that their affectionate moments held no deeper meaning. Pretending to accept their explanation, Gabi responds with an impassioned kiss towards Stefan. Later on, she confides in Connie that she requires evidence of their supposed infidelity and seeks her assistance.
