Actress Anne Hathaway has been a well-known figure in the world of Hollywood for many years now. Recognized for her distinctive appearance and unforgettable characters, she first gained prominence as Princess Mia Thermopolis in the 2001 movie The Princess Diaries, and later won an Oscar for her portrayal of Fantine in Les Misérables (2012). More recently, she has appeared in the romantic film titled The Idea of You.

Despite countless admirers being captivated by Anne Hathaway’s enduring charm, on and off the screen, it’s worth noting that this actress prefers to maintain privacy regarding her personal life. This includes her 11-year union with Adam Shulman, which has gone relatively unnoticed by many.

In 2012, when she was 29, the actress may have shattered a multitude of hearts as she unexpectedly married her longtime boyfriend Shulman, whom she had been with for four years, leaving fans in surprise.

After more than a decade and the addition of two children, the pair continues to be solid, dedicated, and primarily out of reach for the prying eyes of paparazzi and public attention. Previously, the actress shared with Harper’s Bazaar UK that it was love at first sight for both of them.

Hathaway told USA Today that she and Shulman enjoy a low-key, laid-back lifestyle.

She mentioned that they often host gatherings, whether it’s a house party or a dinner party, and simply enjoy each other’s company. I’m absolutely thrilled with Adam; he embodies everything one would desire in a partner. His company brings me immense pleasure, she continued.

It turns out that Shulman and Hathaway first met at the Palm Springs Film Festival in 2008. Shulman, along with assistance from the diamond jewelry firm Kwiat, crafted the engagement ring he gifted to Hathaway in 2012. In a 2017 Women in Washington issue interview with ELLE, Hathaway admitted that she had previously been overly concerned about what others thought of her.

Despite acknowledging Shulman for numerous transformations in her life, especially her perspective on the world, Hathaway shared that she grew more comfortable and learned to trust people. Having previously experienced a tumultuous period when her ex-partner, Raffaello Follieri, was arrested for fraud, Hathaway’s early twenties were challenging. However, she openly confessed in multiple interviews that meeting her spouse significantly altered the course of her life.
