This upcoming collaboration between Disney and Pixar will center around a young girl named Mabel, who possesses an extraordinary talent: she can swap minds with a robotic beaver. Embarking on a covert mission within the animal kingdom, Mabel finds herself entangled in a thrilling super-spy escapade.
The journey through the animal realm has resulted in her forming an alliance with King George, a majestic beaver. Together, they aim to safeguard their domain from their adversary – a mayor with a penchant for development. Jon Hamm, known for his Emmy-winning role in Mad Men and a nomination for Fargo, will lend his voice to this cunning antagonist. The upcoming film, boasting Pixar’s unique blend of action, emotion, and humor, promises to be a captivating watch. However, viewers must exercise patience as Hoppers won’t be released for more than a year.
Twenty-six-year-old performer Piper Curda is lending her voice to the courageous character Mabel. Curda, who’s no stranger to Disney, has a history with them and has previously starred in several episodes of the TV show A.N.T. Farm (2013-14). Additionally, she has been featured on the CW’s superhero series Legacies.
As a devoted fan and an accomplished voice actor with a stellar portfolio that includes hits like Saturday Night Live, If, The Secret Life of Pets, We Bare Bears: Baby Bears, and even Forgetter Bobby in the critically acclaimed Inside Out 2 (grossing over $1.46 billion worldwide), I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined the cast of a new project!
