The series has been a rollercoaster ride filled with twists, turns, and unexpected alliances, but it’s the characters that truly made it shine.
Exciting News for Fans of The Umbrella Academy!
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Blackman hinted at potential spin-offs for Umbrella Academy, but ultimately, the final decision lies with Netflix. He proposed intriguing ideas like exploring young Hazel and Cha-Cha’s stories, developing tales surrounding secondary characters, and even crossover opportunities with main characters due to the unique time-travel aspect of their world. If given the chance, Blackman expressed his eagerness to continue the story, but it is up to Netflix to make that call. He expressed hope that Umbrella Academy won’t be its last iteration and that more stories might unfold in the future.
A series about the Commission could be a vibe. But sometimes we have to simply let a story end where it ends and be okay with moving on. Everything doesn’t have to be a universe with spinoffs and such. We will see what happens with The Umbrella Academy and any potential spinoffs in the future.
