Lil’ Kim shared a story on Big Drive about a time Biggie’s driving scared the entire Junior M.A.F.I.A. crew. She explained that the first time he tried to drive them all, everyone panicked and jumped out of the car after a crash, jokingly claiming, ‘Biggie Smalls tried to kill us!’

Since Biggie didn’t know how to drive, he’d sometimes hire a driver just to spend time with Kim. Despite this, he consistently supported her financially. Kim recalls him telling her, “I’m tired of this—you need to get a car.” He playfully chided her, saying, “You have money, but you’re being too frugal. Buy a car!” This act highlighted Biggie’s caring and generous nature, qualities Kim still deeply appreciates.

Kim’s Lexus later became famous when it was mentioned in the lyrics of The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 hit song, “Hypnotize,” with a specific reference to the Lexus LX 450 model.
