As a long-time resident of Salem, I’ve seen my fair share of drama, but the misfortunes befalling Holly and Tate are something else. It’s as if the town has conspired to make them the unluckiest teens in this already turbulent city!

On the 8th of August, Thursdays included, here’s what we can expect from Days of Our Lives: my beloved characters Holly and Tate are in for a rough time. It seems as if every turn they take leads them down a path filled with misfortune, making it appear that they carry Salem’s bad luck charm.

Holly found herself in a pickle with Maggie due to her dishonesty about her summer arrangements. However, Holly is finding it hard to disclose that she’s filling in for Sophia during the summer or where she has mysteriously vanished.

Holly is sneaking off to see Tate, who is supposed to be at a lacrosse camp. Tate’s parents, Theresa and Brady, are unaware of this. Theresa is too caught up in her break-up with Alex to notice, but Brady catches his son in Salem. 

Jack and Chad are on the hunt for Abigail, but instead they come across John, along with Abigail’s wristband. They ponder over the implications of their discovery as a cryptic woman eavesdrops on their conversation.

Paul expresses anxiety towards his father and stepmother, Marlena. He confides in his partner, Andrew, who has experience with family difficulties due to Theresa’s deceit. Andrew stands by Paul, even though they can’t find a solution yet. They are both resilient characters in Salem, working hard to maintain their emotional balance.
