‘Playing House With Chris Brown Is Sooooooo…’: Chris Brown And Kehlani Faces Backlash From Fans Amid Recent ‘Twin’ Selfie

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience navigating the complexities of celebrity culture and mental health awareness, I find myself deeply troubled by the recent developments involving Chris Brown and Kehlani. While it is heartening to see artists connecting and potentially collaborating, the history between these two individuals is far from rosy.

Supporters showed a range of reactions towards Chris Brown’s recent selfie with artist Kehlani, as he had earlier expressed criticism towards individuals who seek attention by pretending to attempt suicide.

On a Sunday, Chris Brown posted a selfie with Kehlani on his Instagram Story. In the picture, Brown is making a funny face by sticking out his tongue, while Kehlani stands beside him with her eyes closed. The image was accompanied by the caption “Twin ❤️ @kehlani” from Brown.

Fan reactions were intense towards the post due to previous remarks by Brown concerning Kehlani. Back in 2016, when Kehlani faced a suicide attempt amid allegations of infidelity involving NBA star Kyrie Irving and artist PartyNextDoor, Brown publicly criticized her, implying that she was merely seeking sympathy.

A supporter voiced disappointment, stating it seemed disloyal of Kehlani to be spotted with Brown, considering she previously cut ties with Tory Lanez following his altercation with Megan Thee Stallion. Another fan criticized Kehlanis’s choice to back Brown on social media.

In spite of the criticism, certain enthusiasts were delighted to witness the two musicians being amicable. Those rooting for them showed enthusiasm about their bond and anticipated it might result in fresh collaborations.

Back in 2016, following a hospital photo share by Kehlani that showed an intravenous drip, Brown publicly criticized Kehlani on platform X, alleging they had been feigning suicide attempts to garner attention. Additionally, Brown voiced his backing for Kyrie Irving and justified his own conduct.

Brown initially posted, “There’s no pretending to attempt suicide; stop seeking attention on social media. Doing things for sympathy so comments under your posts don’t seem so bad.” He later added, “I’ll become the BIGGEST TRAGEDY, but I’ll ride for my friends regardless. KYRIE might be one of the few genuine people left. I Don’t Give A Fuck!!!”

Since his physical altercation with Rihanna in 2009, Chris Brown has continuously been under public criticism and legal problems. More recently, he was accused of physically attacking attendees during his 11:11 tour in Texas.

Four concert attendees allege that Chris Brown and event organizer Live Nation are being sued for $50 million due to the severe and brutal beatings they sustained following a performance, as reported by The Independent.

A group consisting of Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell have filed a lawsuit in Harris County, Texas. As reported by TMZ and confirmed by The Independent, the complaint claims that these men were given backstage access during Chris Brown’s concert at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of his 11:11 Tour.

The lawsuit states that one of Brown’s associates reminded him of an old argument he had with Bush. Allegedly, Brown replied, “Yeah, we did have a thing going on. What’s new? I don’t forget things.” The complaint suggests that Brown and around 7 to 10 individuals from his group then pursued Bush into a hallway and physically assaulted him and his companions, as reported by the source.

According to the lawsuit, it’s claimed that Parker got stuck in a stairwell and was brutally attacked for approximately ten minutes. Each of the four complainants sought medical attention following the incident. Furthermore, Live Nation is being accused of neglecting attendee safety as per Brown’s statement to The Independent.
