You’ll find a lot of content from Taylor Sheridan, plus classic reality competitions and funny, award-winning comedies. No matter what you’re in the mood for – intense crime stories or something fun for the whole family – Paramount+ has something for everyone. This weekend is a great time to check out the latest releases and old favorites.
‘Landman’ (2024–Present)

This drama, created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, takes place in the oil fields of West Texas. Billy Bob Thornton plays Tommy Norris, a man who steps in to fix problems in this fast-paced and often risky world of oil workers and wealthy investors. The show looks at how the oil boom affects the people and places around it, as well as the environment, and highlights both the dangerous work and the big financial risks involved in keeping the energy industry running.
‘Tulsa King’ (2022–Present)

Sylvester Stallone plays Dwight Manfredi, a powerful Mafia boss known as “The General,” who gets out of prison after 25 years. His family sends him to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to start a new criminal enterprise, far from his home in New York. He begins assembling a team of unexpected allies to take control of the area. The show is a mix of serious crime drama and comedy, as Manfredi adjusts to life in the modern world and the Midwest.
‘School Spirits’ (2023–Present)

This young adult series centers around Maddie Nears, a teen who unexpectedly finds herself stuck in the afterlife…at her high school. She soon learns she’s not alone – other students from different time periods are also trapped there. Together with both living and deceased friends, Maddie investigates the mystery of her death and the secrets hidden within the school’s past, all while grappling with the difficult process of letting go.
‘Dreaming Whilst Black’ (2023–)

This funny and heartfelt series, created by and starring Adjani Salmon, centers on Kwabena, a young man trying to make it as a filmmaker while working a job he hates. The show follows his struggles to succeed in the competitive film world in Britain, dealing with issues of race and class along the way. It also looks at the compromises people make to follow their dreams in London. The second season continues Kwabena’s story, showing how he tries to balance his creative goals with the challenges of everyday life.
‘Survivor’ (2000–Present)

This groundbreaking reality show drops a group of strangers into a challenging wilderness environment, forcing them to find their own food, build shelter, and make fire. Contestants compete in challenges to win prizes and avoid being voted off, all while forming alliances and strategically eliminating each other. The last person standing is crowned the Sole Survivor. Hosted by Jeff Probst, the show has been filmed in many countries and has evolved over the years with new and surprising game elements.
‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ (1999–Present)

This cartoon takes place in the underwater town of Bikini Bottom and follows SpongeBob, a cheerful sponge who works as a cook. He lives in a pineapple with his close friend Patrick and his neighbor, Squidward. Known for its wacky and imaginative comedy, the show has become a long-running hit on Nickelodeon, growing into a huge franchise with movies, spin-offs, and even a Broadway show.
‘South Park’ (1997–Present)

South Park, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is an animated comedy series about four boys growing up in a small town in Colorado. Known for its distinctive animation, the show playfully mocks current events and pop culture. It’s famous for its edgy humor and often tackles controversial issues, pushing the limits of what you usually see on TV. Throughout its run, ‘South Park’ has won many awards and is considered highly influential in the world of animation.
‘PAW Patrol’ (2013–)

This fun animated series for preschoolers follows Ryder, a boy who leads a team of rescue dogs. Each dog has a special skill based on a real job, like firefighting, policing, or piloting. Together, they work as a team to help the people of Adventure Bay and solve problems in their community. The show is all about working together, finding solutions, and being a good citizen, and it’s designed for kids around the world.
‘Criminal Minds’ (2005–Present)

I’m completely fascinated by this show! It follows an incredible team of FBI criminal profilers – they’re part of the Behavioral Analysis Unit and basically get inside the minds of criminals. What’s amazing is how they use psychology to hunt down really dangerous people. Each week, they travel to a new city to help local police solve these big, complex cases. It’s not just about the crimes though; you also get to know the agents themselves, their work lives, and what makes them tick. It’s a really compelling blend of thrilling investigations and character development.
‘NCIS’ (2003–Present)

Starting as a continuation of the series ‘JAG’, this popular show centers on a team of special agents who investigate crimes related to the Navy and Marine Corps. Based in Washington, D.C., these experienced investigators tackle everything from major national security issues to local murders, using both modern forensic techniques and classic detective skills. The show has become a worldwide success, spawning multiple spin-offs set in cities including Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Sydney.
