Interestingly enough, before our 20-year-old Grammy and Oscar laureate made her debut, Buffy the character had already gone through death and resurrection. At this point, Buffy’s story was well into its sixth season, and Sarah Michelle Gellar had been featured on Entertainment Weekly’s cover no less than three times.
