In a recent chat with US Weekly, Jeremy Renner expressed his excitement, like many others, about Robert Downey Jr.’s decision to play the villain in upcoming films Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Interestingly, Renner mentioned that he hasn’t received any casting news directly from Downey.

“He informed me that he hadn’t mentioned anything. Despite being close friends, he never spoke up in our shared group chat, which is for the original six members of the Avengers. Shockingly, he remained silent.”

As a devoted follower, I’d rephrase that statement as: Upon learning the news, I immediately reached out to Downey, expressing my surprise and curiosity: “What on earth has been going on? You’ve kept this secret from us all this time!” The news is electrifying. I can barely contain my enthusiasm for it.
