Enthusiasts of Saturday Night Live can hardly wait for the comeback of Maya Rudolph portraying Kamala Harris, a role that debuted back in December 2019 when Eddie Murphy served as the show’s host.
In the 2019 episode, the portrayal by the actress from “The Loot” was warmly appreciated and even earned the comedian a nomination for the Emmy Awards. Notably, she subsequently won in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category. Since then, Rudolph has reprised the role on several occasions within the comedy series.
A NBC show brought back Kamala Harris’ character, played by actress Rudolph, in March 2021, and she received another Emmy Award in the same category as the previous year.
