As a dedicated fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), I have to admit that “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” has left me with mixed emotions. The show was refreshingly different, offering a light-hearted, feminist perspective on superheroes, which I greatly appreciated. However, the high expense per episode and the ongoing controversy surrounding its production have raised concerns about its future.
For numerous viewers, “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” signified a pivotal moment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Although the series received largely positive reviews from critics, it encountered considerable criticism from fans, who expressed dissatisfaction with both the narrative and the show’s overall mood.
As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed that this show truly shines with its delightful, feminist take on things, never intending to be anything but enjoyable. Yet, this amusing perspective didn’t come cheap – it turned out to be the priciest Marvel production per episode back then. With such a hefty price tag, it’s natural for doubts about a potential second season to surface.
Maslany’s criticisms against Iger, in which she deemed him disconnected from reality, were not helpful for securing a second season. Particularly troubling was Iger’s characterization of SAG-AFTRA’s wage demands as “unrealistic” during the prolonged strike in Hollywood.
1. To put it simply, although the likelihood of “She-Hulk” having a second season seems low, there’s still a glimmer of hope. In a chat with ComicBook, producer Wendy Jacobson subtly pointed towards potential paths for Walters’ narrative. Some of these paths lean towards the realistic, while others offer intriguing cosmic twists.
1. That question stumps me. If we’re discussing She-Hulk, let me share what fascinates me about this character. Essentially, she’s a woman in her thirties juggling her life, career, and friendships, and oh, by the way, she can transform into Hulk. I’d be thrilled to delve deeper into her everyday experiences. Moreover, there are comics where she deals with cosmic cases while working for the Living Tribunal in space. So, I’m torn between keeping things very Earth-bound in L.A., or sending her on a journey through the multiverse or the universe.
