In his recent interview with The Sun, he openly embraces the aging process, comparing it to fine wine. His confidence is truly commendable, as he continues to tour the world and entertain fans through February 2025.

Famous singer Rod Stewart accepts with assurance that he’s growing older like a precious bottle of wine. In a recent conversation with The Sun, the artist shared his thoughts on approaching the last chapters of life at 79, expressing excitement rather than apprehension. “I’m conscious of my mortality,” Stewart explained, “but I don’t have any fear.” With ongoing engagements in Las Vegas and upcoming world tours scheduled until February 2025, he is determined to keep going.

1. “Everyone must eventually leave this life, so we’re all in the same boat, as it were,” the British artist commented. “I plan to make the most of these coming years and have as much fun as possible… I say ‘coming years’ – likely another 15. That’s a walk in the park for me, a breeze,” he added.

As a devoted fan, I found myself soaring to international fame after the remarkable commercial triumph of my landmark album, Every Picture Tells a Story, released in 1971. Though I’m primarily recognized as a solo act, it all started when I was part of various iconic bands, paving the way for my eventual success.

Rod Stewart on aging and its impact on his post-show party life

Stewart shared that he doesn’t go out and party as frequently as he once did. He revealed the reason being the need to safeguard his voice for every performance due to aging. “It’s crucial for a singer like me to maintain my vocal cords,” he mentioned. He stressed that hydration plays a significant role, but it’s not just about having water on hand.

Despite acknowledging the need to unwind after each performance, Rod Stewart expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s me, Rod Stewart. We let loose after every show. There are thirteen of us – six fantastic women and musicians – and I make sure we celebrate.”

Founder of a newly established Scotch whiskey company named Wolfie’s Whiskey, located at the shores of Loch Lomond in the south of Scotland, he is equally pleased about it.
