During an interview on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s podcast, the actress from American Horror Story shared that she and her husband were having difficulty trying for a second child.

Lea went on explaining, “Before this, I had never experienced a miscarriage. The first time it happened, I thought it was strange but didn’t give it much thought. However, when it occurred again so soon, I became concerned. Something wasn’t adding up.” Additionally, she acknowledged that the challenges she was dealing with significantly influenced her choice to take a break and prioritize her well-being.

Michele pondered, “Later on, I suffered another loss while I was employed. Juggling both the grieving process and my job proved to be an immense challenge during this painful period.”

After being diagnosed with endometriosis and undergoing surgery, she shared that it was much later on in her journey when she received joyful news: she was pregnant with her second child. At least a thousand injections had passed before she heard this wonderful update. The beloved comedian expressed immense happiness and excitement, looking forward to the arrival of her second bundle of joy.

Michele got married to Zandy Reich back in 2019. The following year, they became parents to their firstborn son, Ever, who is currently three years old. Last September marked the end of Michele’s tenure as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, having taken over from Beanie Feldstein in July 2022.
