Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 Release Date
During Tokyo’s Summer Festival at Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Kamome Gakuen, the team unveiled a fresh promotional video and logo for the show, as well as a sneak peek trailer for the upcoming After-School Hanako-kun sequel. A definitive release date hasn’t been announced yet, but viewers can expect it to premiere in January 2025.
As an obsessed fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement after watching the latest teaser for my beloved series! It was announced that starting every Sunday, I would get to tune in on 28 TBS-affiliated channels in Japan at 4:30 pm JST (Japanese Standard Time). At Studio Lerche, the manufacturing process will carry on for the show. Taking over the helm is Yohei Fukui as the new director, previously Masaomi Andō led the way in the last season. Voice actors Megumi Ogata, Akari Kitō, and Shōya Chiba are set to lend their talents to portray Hanako, Nene Yashiro, and Kou Minamoto respectively.
The anime “Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun” is inspired by the Japanese folklore of Hanako-san, a ghost said to inhabit school restrooms. In this storyline, Nene manages to summon Hanako, but is surprised to discover that he’s actually a male spirit.
