Lea Michele is excited to pass on some of her professional milestones to her growing family. In an interview with PEOPLE, the Glee actress, who is expecting her second child, expressed her eagerness to share her career experiences with her son and the baby on the way.
During the interview, Michele, who acted in the recent Funny Girl Broadway production, mentioned that her son attended one of the shows. “For me,” she explained, “the most prominent thought in my mind is the feeling I had from being part of Funny Girl over the past year, as Fanny Brice in the revival of this beloved musical.”
She shares that her young son, who was only 2½, managed to attend the show and remained seated throughout. This is quite an achievement, she explains, adding that it was a truly remarkable experience for both of them.

I, as a devoted fan of “Glee,” am thrilled to share that Lea Michele has disclosed an added perk during the filming of the show – it’s being preserved for future generations. A delightful surprise awaits us both when we discover that her uncle was also present during the performance.
Cole Sprouse’s siblings, Dana and Casey Sprouse, are born from his mother, Melanie Wright. Following the festivities, the pair revealed they’re expecting their second child, a girl. Michele characterized her present pregnancy as distinct from the initial one she went through during the COVID-19 crisis.
She shares with PEOPLE that during her previous experience, she wasn’t able to perform while pregnant. However, in this current year, she had the opportunity to participate in a few shows instead.

Lea Michele currently experiences both joys and difficulties as she takes on acting roles while pregnant. Although carrying a baby bump can be cumbersome during performances, she cherishes this unique experience.
During her previous pregnancy, she used to sing mainly in the privacy of her own shower. But this time around, she’s delighting in the opportunity to sing publicly and cherish the distinctiveness of this experience on stage.
As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but marvel at this incredible journey of mine as a pregnant woman. The anticipation and excitement are indescribable, and I feel immensely blessed to be going through this experience once again. This time around, I get to share my love for music with my growing baby, something that was only a dream during my last pregnancy. Instead of just singing in the shower at home, I’m now performing on stage, creating memories that will last a lifetime. What a truly amazing gift!
