Jennifer Garner wants to share a more action-packed scene with her friend and co-star, Judy Greer, in the upcoming season of her Apple TV+ series, The Last Thing He Told Me. While promoting the new season, the 51-year-old actress playfully said she’d love to have a fight scene with Greer, jokingly suggesting she’d easily win.
The two actresses have been close for over twenty years, but their characters in the thriller series are enemies. Greer joins the cast this season as Quinn, a member of a dangerous crime family, while Garner returns as Hannah Hall. Garner has apparently been eager to film a physical confrontation with Greer, and her co-star, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, shared that Greer is a little hesitant about the idea.
Jennifer Garner and her co-star jokingly discussed the possibility of a fight scene, acknowledging their long working relationship would make it especially fun to film. However, her co-star teased that he might use a stunt double if things got too physical!
Garner quickly clarified that any potential conflict would be all in good fun, and she’s really enjoyed working with him this year. The second season of the show, which continues the mystery from the first season, will premiere on February 20th.
The new season picks up five years after Hannah’s husband, Owen (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), disappeared. When he unexpectedly returns, Hannah and her stepdaughter, Bailey, find themselves in a dangerous situation, racing against time and a powerful criminal organization to protect their family.
Beyond her acting career, Jennifer Garner is achieving significant success as an entrepreneur. Her organic food company, Once Upon a Farm, recently became publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, with a value of over $720 million.
This accomplishment is happening while she’s also busy filming a new Netflix comedy, One Attempt Remaining, where she plays a woman trying to recover lost cryptocurrency. Garner has also returned to the awards show circuit, recently presenting at the Golden Globes for the first time in over a decade.
She continues to juggle demanding acting roles with her commitment to family and charitable work, often sharing glimpses of her farm life and her involvement with Save the Children. Though she’s famous for roles in shows like Alias and movies like Yes Day, her current focus on producing and building her business seems to be her most rewarding endeavor yet.
