She discussed the upcoming second season of her Apple TV+ series, The Last Thing He Told Me, revealing that her character, Hannah Hall, has become more guarded and is bracing for danger. Garner explained that Hannah is now fiercely determined to protect her daughter, and viewers will see this unfold as her careful planning finally faces real threats.
She praised her co-star Angourie Rice and hinted at a rewarding payoff for fans as the new episodes progress. Garner jokingly mentioned that her character will be involved in some physical altercations, showcasing a new side of Hannah. The second season premieres on February 20th and is based on Laura Dave’s sequel novel, The First Time I Saw Him.
The cast has grown with the addition of Rita Wilson and Judy Greer, joining Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and David Morse. Beyond acting, Garner has also achieved significant success in business. Jennifer Garner is as busy with filming as she is with her business commitments. She’s currently filming the Netflix comedy One Attempt Remaining, directed by Kay Cannon, about a divorced couple trying to recall a lost cryptocurrency password that’s worth a fortune.
This year, Garner has also been seen at more industry events. She recently returned to the Golden Globes after more than ten years, where she presented an award and wowed everyone in a sparkling black dress.
With a successful company launch, a growing list of projects, and a return to more physically demanding roles, Garner is experiencing a particularly productive period in her already impressive career.
