As a dedicated follower of Zack Snyder’s work, I am beyond excited for the release of his director’s cut versions of “Rebel Moon – Chapter One: Chalice of Blood” and “Rebel Moon – Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness” on Netflix. The trailer has already given us a glimpse into the epic galactic warfare, graphic scenes, and gory body violence that we can expect from Snyder’s vision.
Zack Snyder delivers his vision with an extended director’s cut yet again!
Director Zack Snyder follows up his acclaimed “Justice League” extended cut with a new sci-fi project, titled “Rebel Moon.” Based on the trailer, this cinematic universe introduction promises intense galactic battles, graphic depictions of violence, and gory portrayals of physical harm – more so than in the original “Rebel Moon” series.
Rebel Moon director’s cut release date and more
On August 2, Netflix will make available the longer editions of Rebel Moon: Chapter One – Chalice of Blood and Rebel Moon: Chapter Two – Curse of Forgiveness for viewing.
A tranquil lunar colony at the edge of the universe is under attack by the military forces of the ruthless Regent Balisarius. The enigmatic Kora (Sofia Boutella), a resident among them, emerges as their savior.
“I, along with many others, eagerly await Kora’s call. We are a motley crew, bound by our shared desire for redemption and revenge. The weight of an entire realm presses heavily upon the smallest of moons, but we refuse to cower. United, we rise to face the challenge that has befallen us.”
In Snyder’s promised revisions of the Rebel Moon movies, an additional hour of content is included beyond their initial 2-hour runtimes.
