Did Alys Rivers kill Grover Tully?
As an obsessed fan, I’m convinced that there’s more to the connection between Lady Alys and Daemon than what we’ve seen on the show so far. Although there hasn’t been a clear indication yet, I believe that their conversation played a role in Lord Grover’s untimely death. And now, with the Rogue Prince plagued by disturbing visions, he turns to Alys for help dealing with the Riverlords.
In the course of their discussion, she emphasizes Lord Tully’s significance to them. “Lord Tull is their chief noble,” she points out. “They cannot unfurl their flags in unity without him,” Daemon replies with a sigh, expressing his helplessness regarding the matter.

What happened to Grover Tully?
Daemon found it challenging to win over House Tully’s loyalty since their leader, Grover Tully, was ill and secluded. Without approval from the House, they wouldn’t join forces with the Rogue Prince, which left Daemon powerless.
In the sixth episode of House of the Dragon, it was revealed that Lord Grover had passed away. Castellan Simon Strong (played by Simon Russell Beale) broke the news to Daemon, who responded with a smirk.
Lord Strong added that he had been extremely sick and despite the noble attempts of their masters, including Alys, there was no recovery. “Our healer, Alys Rivers, generously offered her expertise – she worked tirelessly, but unfortunately, it proved to be ineffective,” Lord Strong expressed.
Alys’ presence at Lord Tully’s last moments, following her talk with Daemon regarding his obstacle in gaining Tully’s support, increases the likelihood that she played a role in Grover’s demise.
In George RR Martin’s intricately woven world, I, as an avid fan, am constantly amazed by the layers of complexity hidden beneath the surface. The ongoing civil war presents just one aspect of Alys’s role, and I eagerly anticipate discovering the full extent of her involvement.
