As a lifestyle expert, I truly admire Lindsay Lohan‘s decision to spend a day at Disneyland to reconnect with her roots and embrace her past. Her visit was not just a casual outing but a heartfelt journey back to where it all began for her – the magical world of Disney.
On July 20, when Lindsay Lohan turned 38, she enjoyed an fantastic day at Disneyland as a means of rediscovering herself. Famous for her roles in Disney productions, this trip to “the happiest place on earth” was a nostalgic journey back to the beginning of her professional path.
A magical reunion
In a delightful image captured by Disney Parks and shared on Instagram, Lohan is seen beaming with joy as she strolls hand in hand with Mickey Mouse before the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, California.
As an obsessed fan wearing my shiny Minnie Mouse ears and sunglasses to hide my excitement, I couldn’t contain my joy as I strolled through Disneyland in a flowery cream T-shirt. The magic of this place, the “happiest place on earth,” never fails to leave me enchanted. And what a thrill it was to be reunited with my old friend Mickey, a reminder of our first encounter during the ABC Primetime Preview Weekend back in 2003.
Lindsay posted pictures of her family adventure on Instagram’s Stories feature. One snapshot showed her with Mickey Mouse, excitedly declaring “I’m ready!” With a white Mickey Mouse hat adorning her head in another photo, she added a cheerful selfie and a group shot of her loved ones enjoying themselves.

Back to her Disney roots
I had the pleasure of returning to Disneyland during the filming of Freaky Friday 2, an exciting sequel to the beloved movie from 2003. This project holds a special place in my heart as it marks my comeback to Disney, where I first gained recognition through my role in The Parent Trap back in 1998. Following that success, I was fortunate enough to contribute to other Disney productions such as Life-Size (2000), Get a Clue (2002), Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004), and Herbie: Fully Loaded (2005).
In her interview with Nightline, Lohan shared her excitement about going back to the Disney studio. “Going to the Disney lot brings back so many memories for me,” she stated. “It’s not just about filming Freaky Friday; it’s also where I made The Parent Trap, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and Herbie. Being there makes me feel like a kid again, surrounded by all these nostalgic moments.”

Excitement for Freaky Friday 2
On Good Morning America, Lohan gave a sneak peek to her fans, implying that the upcoming sequel would be “more eerie and surprising than anticipated.” She’s looking forward to the release of this movie, which is scheduled for 2025.
I was ecstatically buzzing with excitement on June 24th when Walt Disney Studios officially announced the news through a captivating Instagram post. The image they shared left me in awe – it depicted my beloved idols, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, beaming with joy as they sat gracefully on the steps of their trailers, their hands lovingly intertwined.
For Lindsay Lohan, going back to Disney isn’t just about resuming her career; it holds deep personal significance as well. Consequently, her visit to Disneyland, where she met Mickey Mouse, carried greater meaning than simply taking a picture for her supporters.
