Yes, that’s right. Winifred in the Hamptons, now isn’t that a captivating thought? It would be such a joy to experience that serene and elegant setting with her.
Midler revealed some sad details about her character’s fate, shared with Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah and Kathy Najimy as Mary. The actress jokingly mentioned that since her character usually experiences unfortunate ends and is reborn to continue the storyline, she struggles to come up with a new plot. However, she has a clear vision of where the story could take place – Paris, London, or the Hamptons.

In June 2023, I, as a dedicated follower of all things Disney, had the excitement multiplied when Sean Bailey, the president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production at the time, made it official – Hocus Pocus 3 was in the works. A few months later, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, I learned from Jen D’Angelo, the screenwriter of Hocus Pocus 2, that we were not only dreaming but also doing! They were putting pen to paper on the script for the long-awaited third installment.
“D’Angelo shared that we’re still developing the storyline, brainstorming fresh concepts. Re-entering this universe has been an enjoyable experience for us, filled with numerous possibilities and intriguing new characters to discover.”
