July 17th (UTC) Routine Maintenance and Update

As someone who’s been deeply engrossed in the Brown Dust 2 gaming community for quite some time now, I’m thrilled to share my perspective on the latest game updates based on my personal experience.

Hello, This is BrownDust2.

Routine maintenance and update are scheduled for July 17th (UTC).
Please refer to the details below.

■ Update Schedule: July 17th 11:50 pm – July 18th 3:30 am (3 hrs 40 mins) (UTC)

■ Effect: Game access unavailable

■ Details:

1. New NPC Quest ‘Our Goal line!’ update

I, being a devoted fan of Levia, the illustrious track and field star, witnessed her spectacular conclusion to her high school tenure and her subsequent retirement announcement. Eager to foster the remaining members of our beloved track club, I embarked on an arduous training regimen. Unfortunately, my teammates struggled to maintain pace, one by one they dropped out. The only remaining member was Loen, an unassuming athlete who had joined our team in awe of Levia’s greatness.

I was thrilled when I finally unlocked “Our Goal line!” by completing Character Pack 1, specifically “Jayden’s Gate.” The Gentle School Nurse NPC in this pack granted me a new quest to embark on. Throughout the sports day event, I got to experience an intriguing new storyline featuring Loen and Levia. However, I want to remind you that the balance of skills for the temporary companions introduced in the Character Pack might differ from those of the officially released permanent companions.

2. Season event ‘Diet Rush’ update
-The season event Diet Rush will be available
– Diet Rush Season Event Period: After July 17th maintenance – Before July 31th maintenance (UTC)
– You can proceed with the Diet Rush season event by touching the season event logo on the right side of the home menu.
– Diet Rush season event consists of ‘Event Story / Normal Battle / Challenge Battle / Field Quest / Fiend Hunter / Event Shop’.
Here’s the information on when each content starts:

– You can purchase various items at the event shop with event currency acquired from each content.

1) Diet Rush Event Story Guide
Loen is training hard for the upcoming sports day’s race.
One day, Emma and Samay approach Loen and ask for help in exercising with their chubby cat, Rou.
Thus begins the cute training life of Rou and Loen.
However, when Emma and Samay return a few days later,
They find that Rou has not lost any weight but has actually grown even bigger!
How could this happen? Will Rou ever slim down?

As someone who has been avidly following seasonal events in my favorite game for years, I can tell you that anticipation builds up as the first day of the event approaches. The excitement is palpable in the gaming community, and I’m no exception. Each story unveiled adds a new layer to the event’s narrative and keeps me hooked.

Diet Rush Event Battles: A Strategic Guide

Diet Rush Field Quest Instructions
– You can begin the “Run Loen!” field quest now.
– Try to surmount hurdles swiftly and cross the finish line in the shortest time possible.
– The quicker your top performance, the more event currency you’ll be rewarded with.
– [RUN] Button: Rapidly tap this button to intensify Loen’s speed, enabling him to run faster.
– [JUMP] Button: Press this button at opportune moments to help Loen leap over obstacles.
– At the countdown “3, 2, 1,” press both the [RUN] and [JUMP] buttons concurrently for a powerful start dash, filling up Loen’s speed gauge to level 4.
– Pacesetter: As Loen embarks on his run, the record of the present front-runner will act as a benchmark, running parallel to him.
– Contacting obstacles results in a loss of 100 health points.
If your health depletes completely, the game concludes, so be cautious and avoid colliding with barriers.
– A multitude of objects scattered along the track can enhance Loen’s progress:

– Chocolate bread cone: Revitalizes Loen with a 200-point health boost.

On a computer, the “Run” and “Jump” buttons are swapped out for the “F” and “J” keys instead.
Each day at midnight (12:00 AM), rewards are reset, giving you another chance to collect them.
However, during this field quest, your talent skills remain unused.

As a seasoned Fiend Hunter player with years of experience under my belt, I eagerly anticipate the arrival of the annual Fiend Hunter event. This year is no exception. I can feel the excitement building up within me as the Giant Rou preparation period approaches.

Giant Rou

Despite her expanded physique, Rou’s sweet and spirited nature remains unchanged. Be cautious when engaging with her, as her irresistible charm may lead you into unexpected adventures. This formidable feline has the power to create seismic activity with a single paw thump and summon hurricanes with her melodic meows. The only solution to restore Rou to her previous size is by playing with her tirelessly until she shrinks back once more.

– Touch the ‘Fiend Hunter’ at the bottom of the main screen UI to enter.

5) Diet Rush Event Store Information
– You can purchase various items at the event shop with event currency (Fitness Notebook) acquired from each content.
– Key items available in the event shop include the following:

* In addition to the above products, various items necessary for growth will be sold.

For seven days following the conclusion of the Diet Rush season event, you’ll be able to buy items at the store utilizing any unused Activity Points (AP) before they get reset.

As a dedicated gamer of Maid Impossible, I’m excited to share that even after the season event comes to an end, the in-game store will stay open for another week! This means you’ll still have plenty of time to spend any leftover event currency and snag those coveted rewards. Happy gaming!

6) Season Event Bonus Costume
– If you possess the event costume designated for each season event, you can obtain additional event currency at a certain rate from the [Normal Battle / Challenge Battle / Field Quest] content of the season event.
– The costumes that can receive bonuses in the season event that runs from after July 17th maintenance to July 31st (UTC) are as follows.

– If you own multiple event costumes, the amount of additional event currency acquired is added together.

As an excited fan, I’d rephrase it like this:

Tower of Salvation

Based on an old tale, it’s believed that there exists a concealed realm in this land where dwell beings of darkness. The entrance to this realm was allegedly sealed permanently through a demigod’s self-sacrifice. Despite this, many adventurers have braved the depths of the abyss, driven by the lure of dark power. Some gave up or retreated, while others were defeated in fierce battles. However, none who reached the bottom of the abyss ever emerged again. The only method to uncover the secrets and marvels they encountered is to obtain the key to salvation, heed the guidance of the gatekeeper, and journey into the endless abyss.

1)Tower of Salvation System Guide

As a seasoned adventurer with years of experience under my belt, I find the Tower of Salvation to be a fascinating and engaging challenge. With its four-week cycle per season and requirement for the ‘Key of Salvation’ to enter, it presents a sense of anticipation and excitement that keeps me coming back for more.

In the Tower of Salvation, the types and abilities of enemies encountered are chosen at random based on the battle’s difficulty and your progression. After a victory, rewards such as costumes or relics become available, which you can choose from depending on the fight’s type. During combat, you may switch out participating companions, but each swap consumes 2 SP. Companions who have perished cannot be used again but can be replaced with others. Effects applied to departing allies are removed upon their departure. If all your comrades are defeated, you will lose the battle regardless of any remaining allies. There is no option to retry in the Tower of Salvation; instead, you may only abandon the fight and return with 30% of the Obsidian and score if you choose to give up before losing or 100% if you do so after defeating the boss.

In the Tower of Salvation, you’ll encounter different types of rooms as you progress up the floors. Each room presents battles, growth opportunities, and rewards based on your decisions.

4) Tower of Salvation Relic Guide

Artifacts are items you can collect, each with unique abilities that boost your progress:

As a dedicated fan, I’d be happy to help you understand the Tower of Salvation test season rewards in simpler terms!

[Seasonal Score Objective]

As a gamer, I engage with the Tower of Salvation every season to contribute towards our collective score objective. Each point I earn adds to the team’s total. To reap the rewards of the current season, I need to secure at least one clean record during that specific timeframe. However, keep in mind that the objectives may shift at the beginning of each new season, so staying informed and adapting is essential for continued success.

During the seasons, all players are eligible for rewards. The level of reward attained is determined by the proportion of the seasonal score objective that has been achieved, with a maximum of five reward levels.

[Rewards based on cumulative season goal score %]

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I strongly believe that difficulty compensation is a game mechanic that adds depth and excitement to the gaming experience. Having tackled countless challenges in various games, I can attest to the thrill of being rewarded for pushing myself to overcome more difficult obstacles. Difficulty compensation in the Tower of Salvation, specifically, offers players like me an extra incentive to hone our skills and strategize effectively, making each victory all the more satisfying.

[Rewards based on difficulty]

On the “Ranking” page, we showcase the players with the greatest total scores from previous individual games, arranged in descending order. We display rankings for the top one hundred players, labeling those below this threshold as “out of ranking.” Please note that only data from the last ten seasons is included in these rankings. At the conclusion of each season, titles serve as rewards for these distinguished positions.

As a seasoned player of this game, I’ve come to appreciate the intricacies of the Tower of Salvation. The higher the challenging level I tackle, the more Night World Obsidian and points I earn. It’s a thrilling experience that keeps me coming back for more.

4. Hunting Request(World Map, Hunting Field) improvements

1) Adjustments to World Map and Quick Hunt Functionality
Instead of “World Map and Hunting Request adjustments,” let’s call it “Adjustments to World Map and Quick Hunt functionality.”

Previous

It’s unclear if Quick Hunt is an option or not, as well as the level of difficulty for each selection.

Changed

When Quick Hunt is unavailable, it will be indicated in green. If available, it will be indicated in blue.
To differentiate the difficulty levels of hunting grounds, each hunting ground will have an I, II, or III mark (I: Normal, II: Hard, III: Very Hard).

– If you tap on a hunting ground with a difficulty level that is not yet accessible, a pop-up will appear explaining how to unlock that difficulty.
From this pop-up, you can directly access uncompleted main quests and navigate to the Hunting Field.

– When you touch the Magic Crystal Cave on the world map, you can now select the desired cave from the dungeon list on the left and enter it directly.
– A bonus UI has been added to intuitively show how much more rewards you can receive based on the difficulty level.

2) Hunting Field adjustments

– To make it easier to change the difficulty of a hunting ground, you can now touch the ‘Change’ button next to the minimap when entering a hunting ground to easily adjust the difficulty.
– To improve the issue of not knowing whether remaining monsters and bosses in the hunting ground have been defeated, combat information within the hunting ground will now be displayed next to the minimap with a monster icon.

– When defeating a boss within a hunting ground, the hunting ground’s clear results will be displayed only for the first time.
From the results screen, you can proceed to the next difficulty, stay in the current one, or directly navigate to the main quest for the next difficulty.

5. Minimap improvements

– A feature where you can easily move to major landmarks by touching the corresponding icon on the minimap is added.
When moving automatically, it will indicate where you are heading under your character’s feet, and to stop automatic movement, simply touch the stop button under your character’s feet.
– Within the village, touching the three-line icon in the upper right corner of the minimap will display a list of inns, taverns, and shops, allowing you to touch the desired destination for automatic movement.
– The minimap will now include a zoom in/out feature.
– Touching the + button in the lower right corner of the minimap will zoom in, while touching the – button will return it to its default size.

6. Other improvements and adjustments

As a longtime player of this game, I’m thrilled to share my perspective on the latest updates from the developers. In my opinion, the removal of certain skill reservation rules during combat is a great improvement for players like me who prefer a more dynamic and responsive gameplay experience. It’s always frustrating when you can’t use certain skills because they’ve already been used by your teammates or yourself.

I enjoyed completing the Clear Summer Night Pack on Hard difficulty in my favorite game. Next, I bravely accepted the challenge of the Summer Night Pack on Very Hard difficulty. Using my earned event currency, I made some exciting purchases during the Maid Impossible Seasonal Event. Moving forward, I’m ready to engage in battles within this thrilling seasonal event.
