The rumor about a huge crossover comic featuring characters from both Star Wars and Marvel has been confirmed as false.
According to THR, chatter spread online that a Star Wars/Marvel/Avengers crossover was in the works, supposedly to be written by Mark Millar, who is known for Marvel’s Civil War, Old Man Logan, and more.
However, apparently, it turns out that none of it is real.

Star Wars / Marvel / Avengers Crossover Rumor Debunked
The rumor claimed Marvel and Lucasfilm were teaming up for a crossover event featuring characters from the Star Wars galaxy colliding with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes from The Avengers. The supposed creative force behind it? Mark Millar.
That alone was enough to set the internet on fire.
Mark Millar is famous for creating large-scale, ambitious stories such as Civil War and The Ultimates, so when news surfaced about a potential collaboration between Marvel and DC, many fans pictured iconic characters from both universes battling it out. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, these rumors are false.
There is no crossover comic in development:
A false rumor recently went viral online claiming that Mark Millar, a well-known comic book writer, was creating a crossover comic featuring characters from Star Wars and Marvel’s Avengers. The rumor caused a huge reaction among fans, similar to a major event in the Star Wars universe.
In any case, we’re hearing it’s not true, so have some blue milk and cookies.

What Mark Millar Has Been Working On
As for what Mark Millar has actually been up to, the answer is simple: he’s swamped.
Mark Millar recently announced the successful funding of his new comic series, Conquered, through Kickstarter. Currently, the comic is only available to those who backed the project, and there are no plans for it to be sold in stores or digitally. However, a second volume is expected to be released this summer.
He’s also taken a break from managing his own social media so he can concentrate on his work. He shared that several live-action projects are now in the early stages of development, with two actively preparing and another one soon to follow.
I’m really excited to see him continuing his amazing work on comics like Nemesis Forever and Psychic Sam Volume 2! Plus, he’s also making sure everyone gets their copies of Conquered – he’s handling all the hardcovers, paperbacks, and even the magazine editions himself, which is incredible.
