Cardi B Makes Bold Stand Against ICE During Little Miss Drama Tour Opener

Cardi B wants her concerts to be a secure and enjoyable space for everyone, and she’s prepared to intervene if necessary. During the first night of her “Little Miss Drama Tour” in Palm Desert, California, on February 11th, the award-winning artist surprised the crowd with a passionate moment. While singing “La Cucaracha,” she stopped to acknowledge and shout out her Mexican and Guatemalan fans in the audience.

The energetic atmosphere at Cardi B’s concert quickly turned intense when she directly confronted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). She warned that she and her fans would immediately retaliate if ICE agents tried to enter the venue. She jokingly added that she even had bear mace on hand to protect her fans from being taken into custody. This strong statement immediately preceded her performance of “I Like It,” a song widely celebrated as a symbol of Latino pride.

This performance happened shortly after several musicians spoke out politically. Cardi B recently praised Bad Bunny for his own activism.

At the Grammy Awards on February 1st, Bad Bunny made history by winning Album of the Year for a Spanish-language album and famously said “ICE out” during his speech.

Although his words were criticized by President Donald Trump and others, Cardi B said she was very proud to see the Latino community united in support.

Cardi B is experiencing a major career comeback thanks to her second album, AM I THE DRAMA?, which came out in 2025. Fans had been waiting seven years for a new full-length album, and it’s been a hit, with songs like “Magnet” and “Outside” topping the charts.

Even though the album is doing well, Cardi B recently told fans she’s already working on her third album. She describes it as a fresh start, promising a more mature and emotionally honest sound.

Cardi B’s “Little Miss Drama Tour” will visit 30 cities across North America over the next two months, ending with a grand finale in Atlanta on April 17th. Despite being a mother of four – including a new baby with Stefon Diggs – and a major fashion influencer, Cardi B is showing she can successfully combine family life with a bold and outspoken public presence. Although the Department of Homeland Security hasn’t responded to her recent on-stage comments, it’s clear she intends to keep her performances just as honest and direct as her music.
