Spider-Noir has officially swung into action.
Prime Video just dropped the first trailer for its upcoming live-action Marvel series, and announced when it will premiere worldwide. The series marks Nicolas Cage’s first time leading a television show.
You can watch the trailer below in both black and white and full color, just like the series itself will be when it’s released.

When Spider-Noir Premieres
The series will first launch on MGM+ on May 25, 2026. Then, on May 27, 2026, it will become available worldwide on Prime Video, with all episodes released at once in over 240 countries and territories.
As a real film buff, I’m excited to hear that Spider-Noir is coming out in a really cool way! They’re releasing it with two different viewing options: a classic, genuine black and white version, and a fully colored one. It’s great they’re letting fans choose how they want to experience it.
Viewers can choose how they want to experience the 1930s Marvel crime drama.

What Spider-Noir Is About
Inspired by the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir, this series centers on Ben Reilly, a struggling private detective working in 1930s New York City.
Following a devastating personal loss, Reilly must face his history as the city’s sole masked vigilante. However, this isn’t a typical superhero origin story. Cage portrays Reilly as an older, more cynical figure working in a gritty world filled with criminals, corruption, and complex moral choices.
I’m really excited about the new teaser! It’s got this awesome, old-school detective vibe, like something out of a classic film noir, but with a Marvel twist. It feels like they’re perfectly mixing those two worlds, and I’m totally here for it.

Full Cast
I’m really excited about the cast they’ve assembled for this film! It’s got Nicolas Cage, which is always a plus, and Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and the fantastic Brendan Gleeson. It’s a seriously talented group of actors.
I was really excited to see so many familiar faces pop up in this! The guest cast included Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster – a seriously talented group of actors.

Behind the Camera
Spider-Noir is produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video.
Emmy-winning director Harry Bradbeer directs and executive produces the first two episodes.
Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot lead the creative direction of the series as co-showrunners and executive producers. They developed it with the help of the award-winning team behind the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, including Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal.
Cage also executive produces.
