Halle Berry and Van Hunt are getting married! After dating for nearly six years, rumors swirled late last year that they had made things official. Berry confirmed the news and showed off her engagement ring at the premiere of Crime 101 in Los Angeles on February 10, 2026, while sharing her excitement about her future husband.

Halle Berry understands what it’s like to finally find the right person, especially after being married three times before.

Halle Berry explained her decision to marry Van Hunt after six years together, simply calling him the one for her. Having been married three times before – to David Justice, Eric Benét, and Olivier Martinez – the actress told PEOPLE that at 54, she’s learned to trust her instincts. She knows what feels right because she’s also learned from past mistakes.

The diamond ring she’s wearing is reportedly worth over $200,000 and has a very special, personal design. When she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on February 5th, the actress addressed rumors about her engagement, explaining, “There seems to be some misunderstanding – he didn’t actually propose, and I didn’t say no.”

“No, that’s not the case. I did not say ‘no,’ we just don’t have a date. Of course, I said ‘yes, I would marry him’,” she added, finally confirming that she and her longtime boyfriend will be saying their I dos in the future.
