Throughout the Scream movies, there have been twelve different people who have played the Ghostface killer. (We’re not counting Jason – he wasn’t a fan favorite and was quickly eliminated in Scream VI.) Even though they’ve been gone for decades, many fans still love the original killers, Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. Some fans even believe Stu is still alive and will return! The trailers for Scream 7 seem to hint at this popular theory. This has been fantastic for Matthew Lillard, who continues to connect with fans at events and through podcasts. While he’s now working on projects with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the FNAF films, Scream and the role of Ghostface will always be special to him. To celebrate, Matthew Lillard even created a Ghostface-themed vodka for fans to enjoy.
This vodka is a new product from Macabre Spirits, a company that focuses on horror-themed drinks. It was created by actor Lillard and screenwriter Justin Ware, in collaboration with Fun World, the company that owns the rights to the Ghostface character. The vodka is described as being both smooth and potent, like a sharp knife – perfect for a spooky or exciting party.
Lillard, from Macabre Spirits, explained that his company focuses on creating high-quality spirit drinks for horror fans. He was excited to partner with Fun World to create a special edition Ghost Face spirit, as he has a personal connection to the iconic mask. He sees it as a way to offer fans a unique, collectible item that also tastes great, especially with his return to the ‘Scream’ franchise in February.
We’re still figuring out what his comeback will involve. Unfortunately, if you’re seeing this, the special limited-edition sets have already sold out. However, you can still get a limited-edition Ghostface vodka T-shirt or hoodie! The good news is that Ghostface vodka will be available in stores later in 2026, just in time for Halloween.
