A short preview of the next ‘Adventures of Cliff Booth’ film surprised viewers during Super Bowl LX, marking a return for Brad Pitt in the popular role. Netflix shared the clip during the game, but it hasn’t been made available online yet.

I just saw the new film, and it picks up the story of Cliff Booth – Brad Pitt’s incredibly cool stuntman from Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. Pitt rightfully won an Oscar for that role back in 2020, and this new movie revisits that world. The original film was a fantastic look at Booth and his actor buddy, Rick Dalton, navigating a changing Hollywood scene in the late 60s, and this feels like a natural extension of that story.
A highly anticipated new film is in the works, bringing together acclaimed director David Fincher and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino. The movie is a spin-off of the 2019 hit, and marks another collaboration between Fincher and Brad Pitt, who previously worked together on films like Se7en, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This reunion of the talented pair is generating a lot of excitement.
News about the movie first surfaced in April 2025. Soon after, set photos revealed Brad Pitt sporting a long blond wig and mustache, suggesting his character would be back. Previously, Deadline reported the film centers on Booth as a Hollywood “fixer” dealing with the aftermath of the first movie.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, JB Taken, and Corey Fogelmanis are also starring in the film. It will be available on Netflix, but we don’t have a release date yet.
